I hit my first 1000 miles had so far (knock on wood, plastic, metal or whatever) I have had no issues even with the aluminum steering box and am averaging 19.7 mpg. So....so far so good.

My first 1000 miles included 453 miles of dirt, exploring part of the Trans America Trail. I'm running 35" MT tires that were aired down to 18 psi for that whole trip, so I only got 17.5 mpg. Love the truck, and it is working great so far.

Mine doesn't get 21 anymore.
But with the stock A/t tires and suspension I was averaging around 21 with a healthy mix of city and highway.
Then again I also intentionally drive to conserve gas so your results may vary.

Just turning over 10k today. Getting around 20-21 mpg on a weekly average. Stock AT's until they wear out. I know on longer road trips, anything over 65 mph will start to drop out the gas mileage. On my normal drive to work where some of the roads are only 55 mph, I can get 25-28 mpg.

That's impressive for a jeep.

Neither can I. We need to start a lead foot support group.

I have have MTs on my Rubicon.
