I use the ultimate 9 EVC throttle controller. I am very happy with it and yes it DEFINITELY makes a difference. I usually keep it turned off but it's nice to have when I want to use it. It doesn't use the OBD port. It actually plugs in line with the pedal connector. If something ever malfunctioned simply unplug it and plug the pedal back in. It will be dealer specific as to how they would react to it. I left mine plugged in and right out in the open the last time I went for service. They never said a word about it. I also left the tazer plugged in the same visit. However I won't do that again but only because of factory software updates. I dont want to wipe out a factory update if I unmarry after an update. I assume that's possible since the tazer dumps the last known copy of factory settings upon unmarry.

So ever since I have had my 21 Mojave I have always felt like as far as power, it had that “Couldn’t pull a greasy string out of a gnats ass” kind of power. With that said, I drove another 21 Mojave today and Shazam! That thing moved out like a scalded dog! What in the heck?! Could there be that much inconsistency in power? Has anyone else experienced this?
I had a 2012 jk unlimited. 2021 Mojave is much more responsive. The 8 speed transmission is the key. I’m happy with the power.
