that pop sounded a lot like the chain in the tcase coming apart to me. Or possibly the clutch shattered

cant say for sure but it also seems to have stalled. If thats the case there wasn’t much he could do rolling back that fast no power brakes no power steering and I seems like he pulled the ebrake halfway down the hill. those people never should’ve been that close to the beginning of Hillsgate anyway that’s partially on them.

Even without power brakes you should be able to stand on the peddle and get it to slow down, especially as it flattened out near the bottom. It didn't appear as though they're was any braking going on.

I didn't see any attempt at braking either, even if he lost all power to motor like it was said already standing on the brakes would have made a big difference. Also, the dude in the bronco had time to get out of his way, I certainly would have put mine in drive and made a quick left turn to get out of his way.

Although he was out of the Bronco spectating and probably had the engine turned off. He didn't have enough time to react to the situation. As the post above said, they should have not been that close at the bottom of the gate. I always stay way back until the vehicle in front of me had cleared their obstacle.

Whatever broke, the driver still had options, including handbrake. It's a lot to think about when the unexpected occurs though, so file under "Doo-doo occurs".

Can’t stay away can you? How long before your back in a Jeep?

I do get bored now, not having something to work on all the time.

You could probably take the doors off it’d be a bit more involved. Nice looking truck though.

Bronco owner seems to have some anger management issues. Like…what was he yelling? “Dude wtf, why did you hit me?”…I mean…did you *see* what just happened?
