Hello Bill, Ruby take off axles with 4.10... Trailer #2430 and JK #4400.... Air bags in the back with 35lbs. Of air.... It really pulled well, except the big mountains.... Been guiding for JJUSA in Ouray for the past 8 years... Hope this helps.

THANKS! Yes, that helps a lot - and makes me wish I had lower gears in my Overland, too.
Still really concerned about how much of a pooch mine is with the 3.73 gears.
What did you do about fenders since the Rubicon axles are a bit wider?
PS - that's a BEAUTIFUL picture - love the scene.

A little under-powered for my towing tastes, but other than that it does well. I sold the boat so I won't know how much better it could tow after I get the steering TSB completeld.

First tow today, Pacific 1925 skiff, about 3500lbs total, handled it pretty well, brakes are great. Previously towed it with a Tundra and JKU, I would say the JT is in the middle which is about what I expected.

5K pound toy hauler. Does ok. Might look into air bags to give slight support.
Max tow with Rubicon spings/shocks/wheels/tires.

I know, I should of put a spacer and kept them for towing.
At the time I didn't know I was going to get an RV. Wanted the lift and shocks ($300) to make it look good.
Bought the max tow for the 4.10s and wider axles.

Here is what I am pulling.

Moby1 Off road trailer. Pretty loaded up and only around 2500lbs (32 water tank empty)...

Was this just a ploy to show off your teardrop trailer because slap my ass and call me Smuckers I’m jelly.
