Spacer on lift

Got a 2021 gladiator with a 3.5” JKS lift and all the good shocks, would like to see it another 1” or so higher, any recommendations???

Buy a taller lift, install spacers, buy taller tires.

It is possible. More than a few people run spacers with a lift, usually just spacers on one axle or the other to adjust rake, but some (including myself) have run spacers at all four corners on top of a lift. Keep in mind that adding a 1" spacer to an existing lift is the same as running a 1" taller lift, it will affect your caster and may require additional parts to keep things where they need to be.

Yes it is possi9ble...

I had a 3.5" Teraflex lift kit installed, and I later followed it up with a combo of a 1.5" Teraflex spacer on the passenger rear and a .75" Daystar spacer on the driver side to account for my ARE topper and the "Jeep Lean."

To this day, I have had zero issues.

The answer is depends on what you need another 1” for. If you just want the Jeep to look taller then spacers will normally give you that. But everything you do to a suspension changes everything. Performance, flex, ability to absorb bumps, shock travel. And since you already have a lift installed you have to take THAT into account. If it was me I’d get in touch with your lift manufacturer and ask them that question directly.

You ideally need some adjustable suspension parts to change the height and keep it setup properly.

-Adj front track bar. Should’ve came with your JKS kit.
-Adj rear track bar. Don’t know what you have.
-Adj front control arms or brackets with multiple holes for caster adjustment.
-Adj sway bar links, but not a huge necessity to mess with these for only 1” height change.

And some shock brackets if your shocks are currently setup correctly.

Might need to adjust bump stops after this.

I have all that stuff installed perfectly on my gladiator when I put the 3.5” lift from JKS, it’s probably best to leave well enough alone

I have a 3.5" lift and added 1" front coil spacers because I had to much rake. Sits perfect now and no issues.

A thing in your favor is that JKS has been making spacer lifts for a very long time. I ran one on my LJ 15 years ago when I did my belly up mod. They’ll be able to tell you exactly what needs to happen to make it work.

What @Sikjeep2 said is a typical use for adding spacers to an existing lift. Adjusting the stance, either getting rid of unwanted rake or adding rake, whether to suit tastes or counter added weight on the vehicle like a heavy winch.

"Can it be done?" Sure. But the other question is "Should it be done?". And my answer to that is probably not.
If you want a 4.5" lift, buy a 4.5" lift.
Interesting to note, JKS does not appear to make a 4.5" lift for a Gladiator.
