I don't really care if you buy, or if you don't buy -- Whatever option you take has no benefit to me. I was trying to help you understand the dealer's position. Good luck.
Thanks I just really don't like car dealerships or salesmen. The last one did come down when I showed him a quote from another one. They were probably the most friendly and helpful. They gave me a reasonable deal on a more option packed sport but not sure if I need heated seats and steering wheel in central Texas(maybe 1 month) but if they come down a little more I might go sign this weekend. Was a little more than I wanted option wise but heck maybe I move up north one day and can use the butt warmers. Would be a cool feature to have to make me really feel I'm in a 2020 model lol

thanks for your input.

Anyone have thoughts on the missing window sticker? They can't find it. I might ask them to knock $1000 off the price instead of taking the $1000 fine for not having it. Who knows how many other they are missing so that would be a deal for them haha.

Yes true. They are getting a small shipment coming mid to late June. But the sales manager I was negotiating with said he won't be fully stocked until mid August if he is lucky. So I said , sounds like I should wait until then so I can have more options to pick from and get some labor day sales. He started trying to back track and say oh yeah but ummm ummm but but who knows how many gladiators we'll get.

Lol that and the missing window sticker made me walk away. Having a hard time getting a sport with Mac tow, power windows and 7 inch under 38k they are acting like they are doing me a favor picking from their leftover inventory. And yeah lots of white and black ones. Black ones do look pretty cool. They usually have almost no good options though
I'm not expecting them to be crazy low on what I am looking for. I probably will need to order unless I wait a bit and see what new inventory comes in. Gobi with Max Tow, Soft Top, 8.4 and cold weather package haven't seen a lot around in the Houston or surrounding areas. I could live with out the cold weather but if I could get it then I would. I priced it out on the Jeep site and it came in slightly above $40k and that is not counting Dealer fee's and delivery cost, etc.

They're full of it if they don't have it. If you search inventory on the Jeep website, that one should come up and it'll have the window sticker there.

White Sport S, max tow, auto, hard top, 24S, mats - Window sticker was $42,595 with all the dealer fees and whatnot. Pulled them down to $35K + Tax/Title just before the virus hit.

OP - You can get a better deal ;)

The only thing that pissed me off was they snuck in some "luxcare clear coat" package thing that they "had already sprayed on the car so its non-negotiable". I didn't catch it until I was signing the last bit of the paperwork. And its not on the window sticker. Just something to watch out for.

That's really good does it have the 7 inch radio or 5? All the ones in Texas seem to be refusing to go under 38k for Mac tow 24s package 7inch radio remote start. That's about 4 dealerships in different cities that are stone walling at 38k . 35k for roll up windows, small 5inch radio,

Unfortunately mine does have the 5inch screen, I didn't want to drop the 2K extra for the 7inch when I use my phone for everything anyways. I was looking at the Insane Audio screen setup for if I did ever want a bigger screen. Maybe that could be an option for you, I would certainly think it would be cheaper in the long run since those setups are about $1400.

Yeah don't feel bad for that price you got a great deal. I am kinda annoyed they have 3 different sizes. 5", 7" , and 8.4"

I could settle for the 7" but if that's the only difference between the Max tow and yours that's like a 3k difference for those 2 inches of extra screen. I think I can wait for more inventory to come . They will get more 2020's plus then the 2021's coming in. I think they will have better deals. That's a lot of inventory coming in the next 5 months . I found a 7" with alpine premium sound but I would sacrifice max tow. Probably not worth it . I won't be towing anything in the first couple years but down the line I do plan on hopefully getting more toys. Campers, boat, etc.. and I don't want to regret not buying a capable truck . Can you really build and order one from keep directly? So you can just pick the options you want.?

The 7” gets you more than 2” of screen. You get CarPlay/Android Auto, dual zone climate control, and then you get the full digital and customizable center display between the tach and speedo. It was only a $1k option on mine when I bought it July of ‘19

The 7" allows you to change some settings, etc. so it is a worthwhile option. When I bought my JT in February, I found two with the right equipment, more or less. at a dealer, with a good price on the website. When I was finalizing the next day, they insisted the prices were wrong and added 2K, so I walked. . .to another dealer who did slightly better than the first price I got. In your situation, I suggest searching other metro areas as well and looking for a better deal. Settle for the one you found at the best deal you can make, if it is the only one you really like and can find.

You are not going to get $1000 off or leverage a missing Monroney sticky against the dealership. They will either print you a new one and if that is not acceptable and you want a replacement sent from corporate, then they will sit on the vehicle until it arrives.

Lastly, veiled threats of narcing on them is a good way to be told to go piss up a rope and be fired as a customer. Monroney stickers get torn, lost and misplaced all the time. Nobody goes to jail for it or gets fined when a good faith effort to get you a replacement copy is made.

General lack of inventory for Sport and Sport S with the factories shut down. Dealer's can't afford to take looser deals anymore because they aren't hitting volume bonuses. Meanwhile more Overlands and Rubicons left because they do not have as aggressive incentives. I paid $32K for my Sport with a $40K MSRP in March.
Did that 32k include delivery fees and Doc fees ect? That sounds lika a great price,

12% off MSRP post-incentive is not a very good price for a Sport S. Myself and other have been able to get these around 18% off post-incentive, so with your MSRP, that should be a post-incentive price of $35,500.
Hey when you say 18% below MSRP does that include the dealer fees and the delivery fees? Do you mind telling me where you got your gladiator from? If I could get that kind of deal I would sign tomorrow

The delivery fee is included in the sales price but the dealer "documentation fee" is not included, neither are the fees associated with tax, title and license. These exact amounts will all vary by State. My dealer was Rothrock Jeep in Allentown, PA but they do not have any base Sport models left. In fact they don't have any Gladiators under $46K MSRP left (very typical of my area right now)
