I have a Sport S with the Max Tow option. I also have the Teraflex levelling kit up front running 33's. I'd like to change my shocks to the Fox Rubicon shocks ( P/n 68341383AF and 68341415AG)

Question is, can I just install the Fox shocks without adverse affect on the suspension or geometry? I couldn't find any performance specs on these OEM Fox shocks.

Thanks

Good question I don’t know but it might require say bar adjustable end links and rubicon’s spring are additional spacers. shocks might be too long for your set up what lift dose a rubicon have

I tried that and the Rubicon fox shocks are about useless in my book they ride like soft worn out shocks. OE max tow shocks with shock extension were much better to hold me over until I got a set of Eibach shocks

Completely agree with Gizmo. The fox rubicon shocks are hot garbage. I ran them for 6 months and two different sets. If you get them for close to free then great, otherwise I wouldn't spend money on them. They are under-dampened and the truck feels like a Pogo stick.

What @redline61 said sums it up. If you had no other point of reference, they would not be so bad but once you do, will realize they are pretty bouncy. They are tuned though to Rubicon springs so they may not be as soft feeling with the max tow ones.

I think @ShadowsPapa may have run a similar setup with max tow springs and Rubicon shocks and may have better insight.

I'm running a Freedom Max Tow with front 1.5 spaces on 35's with the newer Mopar shocks, definitely a ride difference but didn't have to do anything major. Your springs are the bigger factor.

I ran my 2020 Overland with max tow rear springs, the lighter pair of Rubicon springs in the front (there were at least 3 combos of Rubicon front springs at that point in time) and the Rubicon Fox Shocks (shocks and front springs came off the same JT)
When I got my 2022 - I decided no, I wasn't going to put those shocks back on the 22. So they are still in my garage loft along with the max tow rear springs and a full set of Rubicon springs.

I wasn't pleased with the Fox shocks - too "bouncy" with that combo.

I have a 23 sport gladiator I add steel bumper and winch and a 1 1/2 inch spacer lift what is the best parts to replace spacers to level Jeep and give the best ride on the street

Just replaced them. Softer ride on the road. Looking to take it offroad to see if these will work long term.
