Everyone's favorite topic: Steering Stabilizers

I have a 2020 LE with a Mopar 2" and Nitto Ridge Grappler 37's. Mostly street/freeway with a lot of mud and snow in the winter. Some off-road use but nothing too major.

Short story is the dealership ordered the wrong SS so I can choose to grab the IFP for free or the TS for about $120 more. There are a lot of good and bad reviews and I can't seem to get a straight answer. Also, I'm not sure if the push/pull feeling of the IFP is necessarily a horrible thing? Wouldn't that be the normal feeling?

What are your thoughts? Is the TS worth the $120?

I have the basic Fox IFP and it feels just fine. Be sure to prime it after installing. Just turn your wheels lock to lock a few times. That being said, I've heard great things about TS stabilizers.

The IFP will probably make it pull right where the TS dosent ramp up the internal pressure from the shaft displacing fluid internally.

I'll be honest with you, i got 37's on mine and the fox made IFP SS and it made no difference on mine compared to stock. If I didn't have Fox shocks on mine I would still be running my stock one. I honestly think a lot of this driving better stuff with higher priced stabilizers is in some people's heads. If you got your setup dialed in then you really don't need a Stabilizer, I've ran my truck without mine installed for 2 days.

Thanks guys. I continue to get mixed reviews. I just called Fox and they said they sell a ton of IFP's and while most people have no issues, they do get some feedback about pulling to the right and the TS has eliminated that issue so I'm going to go with the TS for that main reason. I feel like spending the extra $120 for the problem to go away is worth it.

Also, heads up, they said the mounting points changed on a 2021 model so a TS requires a bolt that runs about $32 more if you have a 2021. The 2020, which I have, is totally fine at the stock mounting points.

Im curious how the Fox Factory Race compares to the Teraflex Falcon 2.2. I know the Fox has a more adjustability, that isn't always a good thing.

I can’t speak to the Teraflex but based on my research, I didn’t look at the ATS because most people said they had issues or had to dial it down to the factory TS settings anyway.

btw, j.o.y., I’m the dude who talked to you at Sea Cloud Park.

Will Do. I live in Truckee but grew up there so I'm down to visit my fam from time to time. Hit me up if you're up this way too!
