As an anniversary present To Vlad, I gave him his 3rd full service today on our almost 2nd anniversary (this Tuesday). Usually, by year two, I start to have wandering eyes for the newest models (a Truck slut) ... however, I just love this diesel Gladiator and every time I get into him, I think just how much I love Vlad. I have absolutely no desire to trade. At 14,101 miles, I have given Vlad 3 oil/filter changes, 3 fuel filter changes and 1 cabin filter change. I have completed all maintenance myself. 95% of the 14K miles are from trips of over 100 miles and the reason I have limited mileage is it is one of seven vehicles I drive regularly - yeah, a real problem!?!

Reliability:
1) I had a check engine light at around 7K which cleared itself - an owner on this site explained how short starts would trigger the light which would eventually clear itself - he was correct and as long as I let it run long enough for the OFF ROAD PAGES to download, it is OK to shut off with no check engine lights. 👍
2) At 6K an error code showing the sway bar disconnect failure - replaced under warranty.
3) The rear passenger LED tail light has had condensation for almost the entire two years, so I need to have the dealer address the issue soon.
4) I do run Hotshot in each refill of fuel.

I am so happy with this truck and somebody, in a few years, is gonna buy a nice used Gladiator from me.

Keep on Jeepin'

Hi Stan,

your Vlad is really looking very proper.

Unfortunately I am not as considerate as you with my unnamed Gladiator Diesel but have spent also more than 30 KMiles with it.

And still love it very much!

I'm coming up on our 2nd anniversary. I recently had the last free dealer oil change. So far, the Gladiator EcoDiesel has been flawless.

Five plus years. No warranty. No loan. Never let me down. I’m a few miles short of 140K and on this sunny day I’m heading into the Jefferson National Forest to play on the Potts Mountain trail. Still love every mile and minute. You will too. These are great rigs.
