The full size RAM has a way bigger frontal area and higher radiator capacity.
I’m waiting for my 2024 grille to measure the difference in open area vs the original. I should search for this topic actually haha anyway I think I measured 220ish square inches on the current grille. I’m curious to know if the new grille adds more area.

I could have sworn that someone here did just that- measured the engine compartment temp with the pre-2024 and 2024 grille on the same truck and they found it dropped temp slightly.

I screened the intake with stainless 1/4 mesh to keep the 101 degree rats and mice out. They love my carport and ruin the acceleration when they get in the intake no matter what the ambient air temp is.

If cold air is what’s needed I think tapping into the AC air duct and run an air tube to the intake is the real answer. Imagine this….if you turn the AC on high and hold your hand in front of the vent, it doesn’t take long before you’re convinced your hand is frozen, so imagine an air tube from that directed into the intake!?
💥 genius, right!

That's what the Hellcat Redeye and Demon used for additional cooling of the intercooler.

I didn’t know it was a thing. Once I’m out of my warranty on this second engine, I’m doing this.

I've seen Hellcat guys doing dyno sessions sitting a bag of ice on top of the supercharger it would add power although not practical. They would put a bag of ice on the supercharger at the drag strip too in between runs to reduce heat soak.

Yup! 100% They’ve been around since the 70’s and doing quite well. They have a lot documented and videos showing install and how it works.
Wonder why it isn't more common? are they unreliable or something?

I've seen meth injection for supercharger and turbo applications.
I know about that but that's for racecars. other than the occasional Corvette or AMG I don't see meth injection on street cars. This aqua stuff sounds to good to be true. How does the ecu not freak out for one.

I would assume being “common” would involve main stream media to help out or massive advertising campaigns put on by the creators. They did have one local media source cover what they invented, and even had it installed on the camera man’s vehicle and documented what the unit did for that car.

I’d say for the most part, their success is mainly word of mouth and they have a website and email contact you can reach the company to discuss your questions. They have certified installers all over the US and Canada.

I obviously can’t speak for the product because I haven’t pulled the trigger to have it installed but after reading through the website and testimonials and viewing their videos and being a victim of high gas prices and mediocre gas mileage and wanting better, faster, cleaner and cooler engines, the wife and I are talking about this. I have 4 more months of warranty on this second engine and once it’s over, I’m installing this thing.

Forget about the minimum 25%+ increase in fuel economy but they claim “lowers oil temps by an average of 25 degrees” ?! Anyone with a diesel that has derating issues and can’t figure out how to run cooler?

The area code on their phone number shows OHIO. If I lived near them, I’d be paying them a visit.
