So I was not paying attention when I bought these Oracle lights but I already had LED headlights from the factory. My question would be are they any better than the stocks? I think they may "look cool" but I am interested in seeing as much of the road as possible.

Diode Dynamics FTW.

I upgraded from OEM LED to DD and was well worth it

Were you able to get the halos to work as DRLs in auto mode?

Factory LEDs are made better and I feel like they light up the road better. There's a reason why used factory leds still cost so much. Oracles are a good option on a budget though.

Had a set of Oracles on my first Gladiator. They were decent. Flickered every once in a while for no reason I could ever determine. My new JT has the factory LEDs, I think I prefer them.

Strange, I couldn’t get the halos to work as DRLs on auto mode, only when switching to parking light or headlight settings. Not sure why since the harness taps into the fender light harness with wires to trigger all the necessary modes. IMO Oculus Switchbacks seem well made and are very bright but oddly buggy for what seem like pretty basic functions.

I do the ambient light sensor hack a.k.a. Cover The Light Sensor. So basically everything is on, day and night.

I've had had both. The oracle lights are very good, but aren't any better than the Jeep LEDs. Send them back. Installing the would be a waste of money.

I have the halogen headlight on my Sport S, but have LED taillights. Yea the halogen headlights are not very good at illuminating a road with lights all around already like in traffic, but on a dark road are fine. If I change anything I’ll do what I’ve done with every other vehicle, swap the halogen bulbs with LED bulbs. I will have to be careful how they are aimed so I’m not blinding oncoming traffic. MORIMOTO’s work very well but costly. I’m tempted to buy off Facebook marketplace, that has adds for a shop that sells H13 and all other types and installs, even though that’s easy. I used to add Sylvania Silver Star Ultra in my vehicles, until the LED’s came out, that make a huge difference in every environment.

I love all of you with money to burn!

"Hmmm... l'll order JT with LED's worth the extra bucks...! Oh ya I just read about these nifty aftermarket LED's the ad or Forum says way better. Installed them and oh yah seem better, I think?"

No wonder the Jeep aftermarket business is so big!! I have a friend with an aftermarket Off Road shop, he says ads and forums make business like feeding the birds! Everyone flocks there! Been there done that. mostly not needed... I think???

Go Jeep!!!
