I have a 23 JT stock Rubicon. On full turn , I get some tire rubbing, I can’t quite pinpoint it as there is no obvious spot when it is parked and I turn it to full lock.

anyone else have this issue?

(correction, full turn right)

Check your inner fender liners

I'm having the same issue with a new 23 JTR that I purchased earlier this month. Did you end up finding a solution to it or did the dealership fix this issue for you?

With a new vehicle, I recommend taking it to the dealer. Is it major, no, but you want it documented especially before you do any mods to it. I suspect it's an incorrectly adjusted tire stop or something different with the liners. Neither of which are major. Make sure you get an explanation and not just a ...we made an adjustment.

I’m having the same issue with my front passenger. It seems to mostly be when I’m turning full lock in reverse.

Adjust the stops on the steering knuckles then have someone hold in full turn, and look for areas of interference. A lot of times its the control arm. Move the stop out a 1/4 or so and recheck

I also have a stock 23 Gladiator Rubicon that is rubbing in the front right at full turn (fwd/rev). It does appear to just be clipping the inner fender liner. Curious if either of the previous posters had this resolved formally by the dealer or if they just solved on their own. I was either going to zip tie it back a few inches or trim the corner a bit.

My dealer replaced the fender liner under warranty when I had this issue. I have a stock JT Rubicon also.

I know this is an older thread, but my 2025 Nighthawk is doing the same thing. Sounds like a scrub on the right front, then sometimes with a sharp turn and hard breaking, I will get a rub on the driver's side as well. Taking it to the dealership Wednesday. Is there anything I should get them to check? I am a little leary of trusting the dealership. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Arthur - I would have a friend drive and you can walk along the vehicle. Have them do a full turn both directions. See if it’s rubbing the fender liner.

I have a High Altitude with the factory 20" wheels. I occasionally get the rubbing at full lock. I just try to avoid doing that. It's only noticeable when pulling out of a tight parking spot.

In addition, you might want to drop a couple of 2x4’s so you can see if a little articulation is adding to the issue…

Update- Dealerships answer is to shave some of the fenderwell where the tires are rubbing. Says everything else looks good. Sounds a bit too easy or am I overthinking it?

The fender liners are relatively cheap / thin plastic and it's not too hard for them to get out of place and rub a tire. Trim / push aside and go about life.
