clips are junk... will not work

I wouldn’t know for sure. Mine hadn’t broken before I installed the Amazon fix. They’re still working (and not falling) like normal 8 months later.

Mine were broken on my last Gladiator, I put the Amazon clips in and it worked

I bought 2 sets of the $13 aluminum pieces from Amazon. My buddy's Gladiator had a broken passengers visor, mine are ok so far. I installed them on his, which fixed the problem and the other set on mine to prevent an issue down the road.

I'm happy with them, Jeep should have done this from the get go.

I disagree.
I bought these...

...as a preventive measure, and, when I installed the clips, I discovered my driver's side visor was ready to fall out.
After installation, everything is fine, and there's no way the visor can slip past the clip.

I keep forgetting to get these for a backup, but part of me wants them to fail while under warranty so Stellantis gets hit with the repair bill eventually.
It's probably such a cheap and hassle free fix that many owners opt to fix it themselves without going to a dealer for the warranty work, especially since it's not a true fix.

These fixed my broken visors on my last jeep and I put them on my good visors on my new jeep as a precaution...

Do the visors just break on their own or is it due to rough use. Mine are still OK. My GF is rough on them.
