That could work.what if you used something like this to extend it out and tighten it down?

I’ve had the chance to test mine now at moderate speeds. I did add a washer upon initial install, but haven't used a wrench to tighten anything, just twisted the mirror arm. There is some minor vibration, but not significant in my opinion. I will say that the perspective in the mirror isn’t great. It’s small, and pretty far away, giving a narrow field of view. I suppose that is to be expected for an $8 solution. There are probably some options out there which work similarly which are better quality. If anyone finds something awesome, please post it for everyone’s benefit (It is worth noting that these are 8mm bolts, and most motorcycle mirrors use 10mm bolts, but Emgo does make adapters). Until then, this one will suffice.Any feedback on vibration yet?
Yup. Spacer worked like a charm. Alot easier to get on the nut to tighten. Very slight vibration, but more importantly, no mirror movement. So definitely worth it considering the price point. Props to @JTBreezy79 for the heads up!Did it allow you to tighten it to remove the rattle?
Lets us know bout vibration or movement. I added them to my amazon cart. I’m curious. I’d love to do this versus the ones i have not that i have to unbolt and bolt and etc etc

I haven’t driven down the road yet to see if these vibrate too much, but initial indications are positive. The best part is that THEY ONLY COST $8 at O’Reilley’s. They simply replace one of the existing cowl bolts.

Thanks so much for the info on the side mirror, here in MI we have to have a driver side mirror to be legal. It was a great quick fix for us. I was able to pick one up at the auto store thanks. It took all of 5 minutes to install.Lets us know bout vibration or movement. I added them to my amazon cart. I’m curious.
