Doesn’t Mt. Charleston have some big trees?I live or spend most of my time in Henderson, NV (Vegas).
I’m willing and able to travel 300 miles from there given 90 days notice my first choice of destinations is Moab my second choice is somewhere with big trees.
I’m somewhat experienced at wheeling.
We won't do John Bull or even Gold Mountain, too much on the breakover stuff. Still, other choices out there. I'm game. How hard is the big bear stuff going to be in a JT? the John Bull trail looks questionable.
It does have trees but wasn’t the OP talking about some notion of getting a group thing happening? Not sure that Mt. Charleston would be that type of destination.Doesn’t Mt. Charleston have some big trees?
Haven’t been there yet but have been scoping it out. Would like to hit it up when we do Ring of Fire!
Hi Joe, I'm in Mountville! Have you driven your JT without doors? I had a casual discussion with a West Hempfield police officer and he told me it's illegal in PA but some jurisdictions won't enforce it. He said every one in Lancaster County probably will enforce it!I've gotten in some successful trail rides with posts in the local section. Last one had like ten gladiators at Rausch Creek, and one is gaining steam for Peter's Mill Run in VA in July
Due to lack of doors - or, lack of mirrors? I find no law against driving with no doors for Iowa (and have done it) but without mirrors is an issue in some states. I believe Iowa is fine as long as you have that inside mirror (but I'm thinking of getting outside mirrors for doorless, too, as it's a royal pain on multi-lane roads to not have those side mirrors, especially how Iowans drive)Hi Joe, I'm in Mountville!
