I have been upgrading my JTR, added bumper, winch and plates, now i am very close to the bump stops on my rig and tend to bottom out on speed bumps and potholes if i hit them a little fast.

What would your recommendations be for stiffer springs? im not looking at adding height just a stiffer spring.

Synergy Mfg. has a +1" spring that is supposed to be comparable to the Rubi springs but a little stiffer.

Max Tow have the progressive Springs which will be your furnace. Check out the suspension subthread for more help...

clayton has stiff springs for the front, Rock Krawler has multi-rate springs as well. I had Synergy but they were too soft for the desert pre-running I was doing. I'm now running Clayton in the front and Rock Krawler in the rear. I need to do some more research before I upgrade them again. Desert running vs. rock crawling require different springs, and most work fine for most driving styles

Thanks, been looking at the Clayton, i am more into crawling than the desert stuff, why i bought the rubi over the mojovie, the added weight of the bumper, winch and full skid plate system are boggin down the factory springs. thanks for your input.

clayton should work well for what you need. when I installed them it lifted my truck about an inch over the synergy even though they are about 1.5inches shorter than Synergy.

See if you can get your hands on a front pair of springs off a diesel rubi. They are supposedly rated for ~400lbs more. If that only gets you a smidge back, throw a 1ā€ spacer and call it good.
That seems like the simplest and closest to stock
