Tazer Backup license Plate Lights?

Anyone have any luck with the license plate lights going out in reverse with the Tazer mini? I see it is a 'live' portion of the device but my lights are not going out when in reverse.

It seems to be doing it on my mini. I can check what version but I updated it about a month ago.

It does seem to only do it while in reverse, not just when viewing the back camera.

I did a couple of the tazer full reboots after installing it, not sure if that’s a thing you tried yet.

Thanks! I just ran it through the updater, no dice. Did a few reboots, still on while in reverse......

I think there is a problem with this feature working with the manual transmission...

Not working for me. This is covered in the tazer thread. I've texted them and they are working a solution. Mine is a rubicon, automatic with 8.4 stereo. I also have their cargo cam installed.

Tazer got back to me with a firmware update today. It was because of the manual trans, I am going to go update it and give it a shot.

New firmware dated 28 Aug specifically states that it will fix the reverse, license plate light issue.

I've unmarried mine for the time being to get the steering TSB, but updated the firmware while its out. We'll see if it works once I get it back installed

Mine do not go out after update even. Additionally the fender led drls Flash with turn Signals on and off alternating except at night when lights are on, then the Drl remains lit (steady on) in the turn signal operation. The fog lamp drop out works as advertised. 8” stereo automatic.

Mine go out, and I don't even remember making such a selection, either on the standard or live options. I'll have to look into it further, but they do go out each and every time.
