Finally got all my parts together to get on board air for the queen. Now she can stretch her legs on the trail and then be all dainty like back on the road. My setup: arb twin compressor, DV8 engine mount bracket, Viair 18” braided airline, a cb mount I had laying around, and a coupler. Took a couple hours to do but fairly straightforward.

Ps... I might go get an arb rubber coupler... that way it doesn’t burn my hand with the all metal one.

Any issues with heat running the compressor in that location?

This is an awesome build thread. The queen looks absolutely great, making me regret not getting fire cracker red lol Keep up the great work and updates
the queen approves of your adulation!:CWL: I really like the red but wishI could have gotten the hydro blue... your silver is pretty sweet too... the metallic flake is awesome.

I never had the compressor go into duty cycle but did see a decrease in performance in airing up when heated up with the catalytic converter nearby.

I have moved my compressor to under my passenger seat(due to interference issues with my falcon 3.3 shocks). The compressor rarely gets hot there, I learned a new trick to keep it cool... I put the a/c on high as cold as it goes and on the floor setting... I consistently go from 12 psi to 29 psi in 3mins with my 37’s.

Thanks, kind of thought there would be heat issues due to the catalytic converter there... I will most likely stick with a portable unit.

@sassjt love the build. I have a similar look set in mind with 3.5mc lift/37 ridge grapplers.
What is the overall height of the rear passenger hardtop? I’m just trying to fit my Jeep under an 80” garage. Thanks in advance

Check out the picture... I don’t think you would have an issue

How are you liking the Nitto Ridge Grapplers? I just purchased 37x12.5r17d rated.
I like them a lot, really good all around tire, good snow performance too. My only complaints are they are a heavy tire and they do flat spot somewhat if cold... usually within a few miles of driving they go back to normal driving. (Although I do live in Colorado and I’m use to all tires doing this and I park outside on a grade that doesn’t help either)

I will say they ride super nice and I’ve had no issue with them being D rated. No flats, no leaking and they are holding up strong.

Lastly, I have found keeping them around 28-30 psi makes them ride the best.

Well it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. The queen has been doing well beside normal maintenance. At work they pulled out the rti ramp again and she scored around a 630... if I can get my rear swaybar off, I’d hit a lot higher. Also on our “snow apocalypse” we had a few weeks ago I was the only one on my block that attempted to leave for work during the day until between 5-6 pm.(my sister walked the street at 5 and I was home by 6) we had a little over 2 feet of snow... being fully locked, 4wd low and driving an incline to get out it took me 20 mins to the main road... the queen made a lot of subjects give their praise and admiration that I still hear today driving in my neighborhood.
