Back in 2003 before four door Wranglers and Gladiators pickups, the 1st Rubicon was a two door. I ordered one and found the window sticker while cleaning boxes. Prices sure have gone up a lot. This Wrangler Rubicon was fully loaded.

I had a 2004 Rubicon. It is still in the family. I gave it to my son.

I remember (back in the day) a friend of ours bought one. I remember, he put an Atlas in it. He was one of the best offroad drivers I’d ever come across. He took that thing in places (on the rocks) that would make your mouth drop in awww…no fear. I should dig up some old photos and post them. Lots of memories with him….. and that Jeep.

My 2nd Jeep was a 2005 Rubicon that I bought in 2015 (I think). It was a great vehicle and I am a little sad I traded it in to get my 2023 Gladiator Mojave. I really didn't need two Jeeps but it would have been fun going wild modifying it.

In 1989 I purchased a fully loaded 1989 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 4X4 with the long bed, 4.0L Straight 6 and 5 Speed. It was just over $15,000.

I wish I would have kept my "05 Rubicon Unlimited, limited edition Sahara. Found my original window sticker earlier this year. maybe less? Miss my Lil Dirt Buggy. But I do love my Gladiator. After I traded the Wrangler for a more economical vehicle, I thought I would get another jeep in a year or 2,, took me 14 to finally get another Jeep, and I love my Gladiator Rubicon. Especially now that I understand and am 4 wheeling.

I think it's not too bad. OK, can compare it only with the 6 speed manual of my first TJ.

I had a 2004 Rubicon. It is still in the family. I gave it to my son.

My son got a 2004 for $1. It was similarly optioned and priced. Brought it home on a trailer and did most of the work except the frame repairs, ourselves. We have $9k in it now.
