34s, No lift. Stock suspension at the moment. Planning on doing Rubi take offs and a teraflex leveling kit up front with a daystar 3/4 in the rear. But that’ll be it.

New 2021 Overland ordered.....no lift planned but installing Yokohama 275/70/18 mud tires
If I want a little height later, ill do what you plan and just add some 18-20" rims and tires.

I must be the ultimate philistine. I don't get the point of the leveling kit, with any weight in the back I'd rather not look like a dog dragging it's butt. ;)

I get the point........ appearance when not loaded.
What I dont get is how "lifting" the truck 1 1/2" in the front and 3/4" in the back (more if using Rubicon take offs) is considered not "lifted"

Inevitably there’s always that one person who has to get “technical”. I remember those types back in school. SMH.

Most people realize total lift kits and spacer/leveling kits are different.

Since your referring to the exact same set up I mentioned I’ll assume that you are indirectly speaking of me. Regardless, the point in my post is/was showing my CURRENT set up (ZERO LIFT)… I just happened to mention my future plans for it as well. If you don’t consider that in your definition as non lifted, than oh well. At that point I won’t be “philistine” in your eyes which is fine. In the meantime keep scowering the forum looking for posts you can comment on to feel better about yourself.

I guess I’m a Philistine too. But honestly, I just love the way it looks as is. Maybe someday, but doubtful. I also have a 95 Wrangler, mostly stock, no lift, just bigger tires and I’ve been just fine on and off road since I got her in 1995.

Rubicon front Springs should be standard on all trims. The stock ones are too soft and eat up about 3/4 of the shocks travel just sitting still. Front bump stops are beat like a drum off road.

That and taller tires on the stock rims are ok by me.

Anything beyond that I would consider a lift for the purposes of this topic.

IMO, YMMV.

This, right here.

Different? Different how?
I realize that the kits use different mechanical means, but the end result is to increase the distance between the axles and the body.
Isn't that the definition of, "Lifted?"

+1 its comical how this turns from a stock suspension thread to a "well its just a leveling kit" LOL

Not debating that. My point and comment was particularly for @Ogre_FL who felt the need to try and act cute calling me out indirectly all for stating my future suspension plan. Regardless my initial post as stated is showing my JT which CURRENTLY has “ZERO LIFT”. I just simply stated what my FUTURE plans were. At that point, when that happens for sake of this thread I guess I wouldn’t fit the bill. I could see if I had that set up currently and posted a pic. People always just try and comment to act cute and feel important.

I currently have no leveling kit nor rubi suspension. So all the talk trying to sound smart is irrelevant.
