Hello. Before going on vacation I found that the highlighted 40a fuse goes to the starter and If you pull it the nothing happens when you try to start the vehicle. Great. This works well for long durations away from the truck. Can anything think of a way to accomplish the same from a hidden toggle switch inside the vehicle? Not sure where to wire something like this to.

Wire a switch into any of the lines going to the ignition switch.

Hide said switch wherever you want.

Pulling a fuse isn't going to stop thieves - they'll have fuses or short across with a wire or something. They go in knowing what it takes.
it may stop or slow down the casual joy-rider, but that's about it.
Jerks looking for an easy mark to drive around or use in crimes - may thwart them but not most thieves.

Anyway, there's a slew of posts on this - several, and they are many pages and dozens of posts long.

No, there are zero useful posts on this, if you search for "kill switch" there's 4 results of useless data with most comments amounting to something of "I wouldn't do this under warranty" or "your key is your kill switch"

I use, and would suggest a Steering wheel lock device, and a Faraday box or Faraday pouch. The steering wheel device would be a deterrent just at the sight of it, or it would slow someone down. The Faraday box or pouch actually blocks RF signals, put the Jeep keys in here for safe keeping.

Pull the fuse for the long term and install a blown 40amp that looks like a good 40 amp fuse. That will really mess with folks.

this is exactly the endemic crime we've got going on here in the upper Midwest, granted it's with non-immobilizer Hyundai's & Kia's (thanks to them much less attention to Jeeps in the city)

may not stop a broken window, but it will save the joyride and eventual crash into a tree or police cruiser, which is quite common place here

My best anti theft is buying my Sport with no power locks or windows. ? In all seriousness even if it never stops anyone I added a key lock to my hood, and the anti-theft settings in my Tazer where you have to input a code before it will drive.

Good suggestion. Our other vehicle has a steering wheel that makes it hard to protect with a Club. I'll look for one of those.

ravelco or a compustar alarm with the T13 remote and drone module with shock and window break sensors. Ideally both systems, and you'll be good to go. These are proper solutions, everything else is only a deterrent.

I have a ravelco in all of my cars, jeep included and use the compustar with two of them.
