Did you install the lift yourself?
Did you torque the control arms after the vehicle was back on the ground and under its own weight?
How much lift?
Did you install a driveline spacer?
I did yea, its a 3.5 metalcloak lift, it was on the floor then I tightened everything back up

as far as driveline spacer I did not

You wouldn’t get a knock or clunk from not having a carrier bearing spacer. They help reduce driveline vibrations by reducing angle on the pinion.

Agreed. I was reaching beyond the clunk and assessing the whole install.
I'd definitely add a spacer after getting the rest of it sorted out.

I was chasing a clunk while off-roading and under braking for weeks. It turned out to be a front passenger LCA axle side bolt that needed a little more tightening. All silent now….

I marked all nuts with a paint pen so I can easily spot changes in the future.

was this clunking even as you were moving? My clunk is only when I brake and come to a hard stop or take off from a dead stop.

Which is usually a loose control arm, but not always.

That's weird. I just spent a couple weeks in CO and found the same thing when I got back. Same side, same fastener.

Depending on the type of arm, it happens. I constantly fought my old control arms. My new Teraflex arms just stay put.

Not to muddy the waters here, but my drive shaft makes a -clunk- noise occasionally under the conditions you are describing. Also happens if I'm not holding the brake down tightly when i reverse out of my garage, or if i let off the gas completely and then get right back on it with no pause. Does not happen all the time, only under very specific conditions.

slip bump is what it’s called. I posted a thread about this a while back and most of the replies I got was to check the rear brakes. The splines of the slip yoke need to be greased but I haven’t looked into how to do it.

Have someone rock the steering wheel back and forth a little bit while you watch all those rod ends. As the video before mentioned, the joints do need to move a bit while turning, but you should not see the end moving around laterally or vertically in relation to the mount in the light rocking motion

I had my upper drag link replaced under warranty due to the same noise/movement you showed in your video. This helped for a while, but I ended up replacing the entire set up with 1-ton steering linkage from Rusty's because I was getting some play in my outer tie rod ends.
Also, if you're having a clunk during acceleration and deceleration, may want to check your upper and lower ball joints. Play in those could cause the knuckle to move when torque is applied in either direction.

Mine used to with 40000 miles. I replaced it with synergy tierod and draglink. Can't be happier that I did steers way better.
