Philosophical ? Absolutely . The saying goes, "Time will be of the essence," but I say, IS of the Essence. Time is Always and forever IN the MOMENT. It's Essence is ALWAYS Present . . . its moment is NOW ! "Time has come today" (a line from a classic R&R song of the 60's)
I struggled with where to put this Thread . . . "Issues, Repairs, Warranty, TSB, Recalls"? Nah, though (jokingly) that title could be made to apply to ME and my "situation"? But, I am NOT a "Gladiator"! I am, however, now in my . . . "of the essence" moment . My Fly Fishing Trip to Dillon became anticlimantic . Too many diminishing-returns as the days turned into weeks of frustration and disappointment . No, the Fishing was fine, but more difficult than usual - hot weather, difficult walk & wade situations that were few and far between ! What I'm trying to say . . . is becoming apparently more difficult than I imagined . . . ! The essence of My Time IS NOW ! Hit me like "a ton of bricks" a few days before the trip home . Won't be "Gladiating" about . . . I'll be staying in my 2016 Recon Green G.C. ! The ~$48K "savings" will go to more urgent needs, as they arise ! "She'll" get a Rocky Road Leveling, new AT (worthy) tires, and a homemade "Goose Gear" retrofit (minus the rear seats) - Lowe's Marine-Grade plywood (see Steff, I thought of you too, ha). The Universe IS (some wonder, maybe) Eternal and the 13 Billion years (or so) it's taken is just too difficult to comprehend, but Life is not . So I (we all should) will be trying my best to LIVE IT EVERY DAY - This too is a struggle sometimes as I feel "trapped" within myself . But, on the bright side I've planned & made new reservations for CRAIG (Montana) and the 'Trout Spey Clinic' by HeadHunters Fly Shop - Oct. 10,11,12 ! If your curious, go to the fly shops "dot com" and you will now "know"! These are my motivators . . . not just the fishing, but the new faces, the camaraderie, and perhaps a lasting friendship, as a bonus !?
Like 5jeepsAz, I'll be "checking up" on you folks once in awhile . Perhaps, if management will allow, I'll post my "new built up" Reconator (my recon green WK2) - just a pic or 2. "They" say, life is for the living . . . so get out there and LIVE ! Always . . . FlyFinaticLou
