Have a 2024 GLADIATOR Willy with FIRESTONE / DESTINATION tires on it and not like the road noise , will probably move those tires to our Polaris RZR . Would like to go get some MICHELIN tires one or two sizes taller , anybody got some recommendations, Jeep is mainly driven in YUMA or towed behind motorhome have the RZR for dirt .
Thanks Rick

I'm definitely following this, as I'd like a tire to do some dirt and sand, nothing too crazy. Maybe some rock crawling, but at a lower difficulty in some areas we have here in Texas.

If you were to go with a 285/70/17, looks like you only get 3 choices with Michelin.

I ran the LTX MS2 tires twice and didn't like them either time.

Michelin? Why? Thats the last tire I would expect someone to put on a Jeep. All they make are highway tires. Yes, I know they make tires that say "A/T" on them. But those arent A/T's. Those are mislabeled highway tires. Toyo A/T-3's are good. Ive been very happy with them. I will be putting a set of Toyo open Country R/T Trails on my Gladiator soon.

See if you can find Michelin Defender 2 (NOT LTX light truck version). Super quiet, long lasting.

I have a 2023 Willys and run the 255/80/17 (33”) Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws. I love them, so much quieter than the BFG Mud terrains, plus one inch larger, and have the mountain snowflake for running in the snow.

I've got the 33” Falken Wildpeak M/T's. It's a very tough tire.

While it's been a great tire in the dirt/mud/sand/snow/ice they fall down a bit in a little water on pavement. Nothing serious just a little fishtailing or spinning if I try to go to fast. That and their a bit louder than I thought they would be.

I'll be getting the MT Baja's when they start to wear.

If you want something less aggressive have you looked at the Bridgestone duelers? They came on our 4xe and were very quiet and smooth

What are you looking for in a tire? Do you want a highway tire, mud terrain, all terrain? There are a lot of options.

What's your priority? Is it Off road, Highway, or towing behind your motorhome?

It's hard to give you a recommendation without this information.

Goodyear Wranglers are great Highway Tires that tow well behind the motorhome.
Goodyear also makes 2 versions of their Duratracs, one that's an allterrain tire that runs well on the highway and tows well behind the motorhome. They also make a more aggressive tread that I have been very happy with on my Gladiator. Why Goodyear. Because I am a USAA member and they have a great discount tire program.

Then with towing behind the motorhome you need to look at the ply of the tire. You can have as little as 4 ply or up past 10 ply. But that adds weight and then concern about added weight behind the motorhome.

Just some things to think about.
