I am an admitted idiot with math. My alignment specs for toe are...
Driver: 0.07*
Passenger: 0.06*
Total toe: .13*
Is that in the popular 1/8" toe in range?

1 divided by 8 is .125 so yes, .13 is right there.

Biggest question is are those toe in or toe out?

I ended up calling Metalcloak and asking them built my own alignment tool. Used their measurements. Came out a little more like .2 toe out. I'll have to find my notes.

Never been a fan of toe out on a primarily rwd setup. The front wheels already push outwards at speed so toe out would make that worse I would think. Plus .2ā€ is a ton when it comes to alignment, I’d be curious to see how that effects tread wear over time.

Does * = degrees or inches?

From what I've read the rock crawlers often prefer a little toe out but for those of us who DD our rigs toe in is the way to go.

I’ve got the toe measurement tools from Bleepin Jeep. I’ve got mine adjusted to 3/32ā€ toe in. The goal was 1/16ā€ in, but I got tired. :)

Vegas 4X4 told me toe out on stock steering and toe in on upgraded steering. Still on stock steering myself. Took it in to double check alignment and they said .2 was to much. So they adjusted it to .1 Hopefully I'll get the upgraded steering on this weekend. I also had aluminum angle across the outside of the tires. For what it's worth it may be a starting point.
