Tore Up Wheelwell/Fender Trim

Managed to tear this up, hit a tree branch i think while trying to get around trees and debris in Ga after the hurricane. Does the whole fender need to come off to replace, looks that way.

That IS the fender. You'd have to replace the whole thing.

If you look inside the lip, you'll see plastic rivets.

Drive a pin punch through the center.

Remove them with a trim tool pry.

Install the new one.

You will need plastic rivets and the rivet tool to install. Most auto parts stores carry them, or Evil-Bay, Amazon may as well.

Cool, i have a plastic rivet rool from other work. Just wondering if the piece is avail sep from the fender, and if the fender needs to be removed.

An exploded diagram will show it, as it's easily removed and reinstalled, often damaged I'd say yes.

I Imagine it MAY be a dealer item, I don't know if the aftermarket makes them yet.

Expect a long delay to get it, I would imagine.

Check with some of the JEEP parts sites that folks here us.

As my tire rim combo has some poke, I put Mopar mud flaps on and Evil-Bay fender flares on.

Simple fix with some plastic welding staples.

Is it a Mojave or a Rubicon? I just did a fender chop and still have the good as new front fender liners. They would have hit the trash if it wasn’t for the hurricane.

Clearly the correct answer is to buy four high-clearance fenders.

This is also the solution if a bird poops on your fender. "oops, guess I get to have to upgrade!"
