Does anybody use these with a 8.5' wide enclosed trailer? Do they stick out far enough to see around the trailer?

They let you see next to the trailer for merging or changing lanes. Owning a 2500 Ram with their super tow mirrors, barely lets you see next to a 8.5' wide trailer. Those mirrors flipped out are significantly wider than anything you can put on a Jeep/Gladiator. My mirror adapters and Rampage tow mirrors offer what I feel is a HUGE improvement in visibility for towing in terms of a higher level of awareness and safety. These trucks are not designed nor intended to be used like 3/4 or 1 ton pickups. The fact that they install in seconds and are 100 times more stable than universal style, makes up for the slight difference in visibility. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Of course these aren't 1-ton trucks. But a 8.5' trailer isn't a 1-ton territory trailer. The manual puts the max frontal area at 55 sq/ft which accommodates the typical 8.5' wide x 6.5' tall box trailer. I just wanted to see if this setup would let me see around the trailer OK.

The standard "non-towing" mirrors on my Ram 1500 let me see well enough for lane changes and almost let me see around the trailer, so as long as these adapters and mirrors will get me to that same point I'll be fine.

I do like that this setup is said to not vibrate in the wind. Gosh I hate mirrors that shake in the wind.

I think I'll try these adapters and those mirrors and give them a whirl...just waiting on my JT to be delivered next week or the week after and then I'll order these. Thanks.

I also threw on some YASOKO Adjustable 360 Degree Rotation Wide Angle Side Rear Mirrors Blind Spot Snap Way Rearview Mirror. Dunno how well those will hold up but I know the rampage will. First tow with this set up happening this weekend will report back. 21 ft trailer 8ft wide I really needed these mirrors!
