It took me forever to get this in. It kept going out of production and back again, but I was finally able to get it. Just a warning that these things are just as crappy as when we were kids. They only really work on the concrete, and even then they struggle with any incline.

Put another 12V to it. We ran a few around at the dealership years ago. A 12V 800CCA battery moved along fine, the second one really made it move (for a short time) until the motors went down in a blaze of glory! Ended up screwing some old bicycle treads to the plastic wheels for traction.
To bad it was before You-Tube.

I bought this for my kid too. I put a Milwaukee 12.0 battery swap in it and trust me it flys now! Goes uphill in dirt on the grass. My 70lb 10yr old takes it from the 3 year old every now and then and it still hauls a$$!

Found a die cast 1/32" on ebay, it's from China for around $25, but it's pretty cool. Comes in a few colors...Takes batteries and when you push down the headlights light up and it makes a revving sound. Doors, hood and tailgate open.

You need to wash it and get bigger tires, hahaha!

Finally broke down and ordered these from 3000toys.com. $7 each plus $10 to ship. Trying to debate if I want to open the honcho or keep it in the blister. All are greenlight 1:64 size.

As a collector with a barn full of toys, open it. Your enjoyment is worth more than the few extra pennies it might be worth.
Besides, the market has really dropped out of modern collectibles

I got it at WalMart but if you Google Motor Max 1:27 Gladiator it is all over the place including Amazon for $20.

This thing is awesome for $16. Four wheel drive. Decent articulation. Pretty quick. Yeah, I went back and bought it, haha.

Well, decided to add to my collection of gobi colored Jeep gladiators too. This one is a 1:24 scale remote control.
I still need to get them all together for a family photo. Hopefully when a little better weather.

I found the ‘Motor Max’ Gladiator at Walmart.
It’s the rare 1:24 series in 1:27! ?
It’s awesome that the Gladiator has only been manufactured for a couple of years and it’s already a “Timeless Legend”! ?
