TPM warnings

I changed to FUEL wheels and dealer was able to save my TPMs. After driving the 2020 Gladiator Mojave for two months after the switch, my TPM warning light came on. I checked all 4 tires and all at 39. Took to a dealer for free oil change and they tested found several codes triggered and couldn’t get it to go out. About a week after that service the warning went off. Two weeks later back on and tire pressures all at 39. Any suggestions or thoughts??

Still have warranty on it?
No business can cause the TPMS system to fail or not work, and if they are asked to repair it, it has to work.
If it's under warranty, they need to make it work.

Yes! Still under warranty. Taking it back in to dealership on the 11th.

I checked it the first warning and it was low. 26psi. Probably hadn’t been checked since purchased new. I’m second owner securing this beauty at 6500 miles. I filled it to 39psi. Still didn’t change warning light. Two dealers confirmed the spare is NOT part of TPMS.

In the situation of stock wheels. The spare came with the TPMS sensor, but only is sensed by the Jeep until it is mounted on the ground. Then it takes driving a short distance for the display to reflect the actual pressures.
I suspect if you had oem TPMS sensors installed in 5 of your new wheels then the new setup should work like stock.

Only changed 4wheels. The spare is new original Wildpeak A/T. Gladiator came with 35” M/T’s but stock spare. I had dealer give me new 33” Nexen A/T with snow rating ( great ride), but my speedometer is still set for 35”’s

The spare is not monitored. It does not even have a sensor on a Gladiator.
The sensors go to sleep when the tire is not rotating to preserve battery life. So even when the spare has a sensor, like on a Wrangler, the system is only monitoring the four road tires.

Yes, like mine with a matching 5th wheel and tire I bought myself. The sensor goes to sleep. The truck never even knows it's there.
The others shut down after a while - that's why on some crisp mornings mine said 36 psi until I drove a few feet and the psi dropped closer to 30 - it was about 0 degrees out when they woke up.

So your warranty will end before it should because the truck thinks it's moving farther for every rotation of the tire............

It won't be thousands of miles - but my wife and I have both had experiences where we were basically only hundreds of miles from end of warranty............
My son had a battery replaced in a Ford just miles before the warranty ended.
My luck is typically that things fail 10 miles after the end of warranty LOL
