Not proud of this but glad I did it anyway. I traded in my 2 month old Anvil Gladiator Nighthawk for a new 2024 Mojave. Just for background, I usually keep my vehicles for a while. My previous daily driver was a 2016 Grand Cherokee which I owned for 8 years. After purchasing the Nighthawk in November I bought a set of black Mojave rims, Rubicon/Mojave front springs (the 2024's both use part number 68607512AB for the non steel bumper trucks), and a set of Fox 2.0 shocks. I was going to install all this after I purchased a set of tires for the 17" Mojave rims. So clearly I caught the parts/upgrade bug very quickly!
Then came the 20% rebates on the Rubicon and Mojave's and I was able to get a great deal like so many others on the 2024 Mojave. I was able to get within 2k of the price I paid on the Nighthawk for the trade so I lost that and the sales tax paid on it of course. Not a night and day difference between the 2 trucks. The Mojave is noticeably taller and rides slightly better but not by much. The seats are slightly more comfortable also. The features I missed but rationalized I didn't need in the Nighthawk because of the nice deal I got on it were the remote start, heated seats, and climate control. The Nighthawk was great and I'm really enjoying the Mojave. So anyway, I think this is it for a few years for me in terms of buying new trucks! I will be selling the new parts I bought on FB Marketplace...
