I reserved a bronco the day it was released. I ended up getting the gladiator because we bought a travel trailer. We decided to still get the bronco. It will be my wife’s. I don't have any regrets getting the Gladiator over the Bronco, I love it.

I can't imagine Limiting myself to a Car Manufacturer because of brand loyalty. I would much rather buy the vehicle I like, despite the brand. I had a 4Runner, Land Rover, and Nissan Pathfinder before the Gladiator. Life is much more enjoyable with some variety in it. Plus I don't want to be that guy that bags on every other brand, repeating the usual "deal breaker" short coming of competitive vehicle.

With everything, it's always pick a brand and be a d!ck about it. gets old.

I have worked for Ford for 11 years... We just had a bronco in here the other day for some training. I think they are amazing and like it every bit as much as my Gladiator.
Well hey at least its a completely unbiased opinion

This is true... But I should say that I basically said the same exact thing over on the Bronco forums to all the Bronco Boys that were hating on the Gladiator and the Wranglers. They want to crown the Bronco the Wrangler killer.... Which while being nice, is not any better in my opinion. I just happen to like them both.

Some people love one brand, nothing wrong with that. Ford made it pretty clear that the bronco is a direct shot to the Wrangler, and as a lifelong Jeep/Mopar guy, its pretty easy to feel a strong dislike towards ford

Hey all this hate on Trailrecon, I can appreciate that he doesn’t use his wife or gf to try and use that to bump his views to those lonely dudes out there.
He promotes some junk but overall I respect his channel. Been watching it here and there for a couple years.

I can agree it was better before, but it’s still a decent channel.

Why? Direct competition is a good thing and will only improve both models.

Ok I’m gonna chime in on this nugget...I absolutely love the fact that Ford is taking a run at this segment. The big winners in all of this is the consumer. I’ve owned my fair share of vehicles over the years and I’ve bought the same brand three times(Honda/Acura). If your a die hard Jeep loyalist then your going to benefate from the fact that Jeep is going to have to up there game to stay relevant, rather than just whiff out a slight few changes every now and again because they have the market cornered and they know folks like you will come back anyways. Now if your just salty because of the fact that the Bronco is taking the spotlight away from Jeep then that’s more about you than Ford I’d say.

Yeah i dont really see the need for Jeep to "up their game" when it's already making great products. I have no problem with competition, but like I said, Ford is a rival to my favorite brands and im not gonna have any kind of fuzzy feelings for a new product of theirs

I don't have a problem with preferring a brand. Just a lot of people are jerks about it. I will say this, the Jeep community has been the best so far. Jeep guys come up and talk to me all the time. That never happened with other brands. I love the Jeep wave too.

Good point. I watch as much YT as I can stomach just to try to pick up little things here and there. I mean seeing what LiteBrite did initially with a stock wrangler is what got me into Jeeps in the first place, but they are total salesmen. Contrast how they present mods vs how TrailRecon does. I don't ever feel like he's selling me anything.
I actually don't like how some of the other channels whore out their wife just for clicks, I think it's sleazy.
395jnky makes wholesome stuff. I'll have to check out venture4wd

I like his channel. I wouldn't do most of that stuff he is doing but if that is what pays the bill and gets free stuff then to each his own. I like to see the trips they go on and the over landing places. Its interesting he got that new diesel wrangler to fix it up to make a multistate US trip. Stuff like that I like cause just going on a multistate trip is something I would like to do in some years once I am done with work and the daughter is out of the house.

I didn't mean to come off crass or anything, I just hear it all the time how something is so better, when there's no experience with it.

The problem with loving just one brand is the brand doesn't actually give a crap about us. They just want to sell products. At some point they will let us down.

Plus, I am just an off road vehicle junky. I would collect all of them if I could. Except for Land Rover. Mine was broken down more than it ran.
