Same one I got and the same place I had it mounted with 3M tape, I moved it after the 3M tape kept failing to stick. I'm in agreement with you on not wanting to lose 12v outlet, that's a WTF are they thinking by using it for brake controller location.I went Curt Spectrum and mounted to the left of the steering wheel since I need my 12voly outlet.
I've used a LOT of that stuff in vehicles, on motorcycles, and all over the house including that side. If it failed to stick it's either fake 3M (common on eBay and some on Amazon) or you didn't clean the surface. For vehicle interiors, 91% isopropyl is a great way to prep it. Wipe wet, wipe dry, repeat, let dry, stick.3M tape kept failing to stick.
That's exactly where I put it with my JL:I went Curt Spectrum and mounted to the left of the steering wheel since I need my 12voly outlet.
Reach down and push the button.I love how clean that is, but how do you manually apply the brakes?
Yes and you can press and turn to increase gain manually.Ok, so a push in applies them at full force (whatever is set on the dial)?
Lol. Feb of 19 was supposed to be the for sure date. What a joke I hope they get nailed with a class action lawsuit over this. I want my $3.50 for the lies and inconvience.Another laughable update today:
Trailer brake controller part number 82215652 will not be available in December. (anybody surprised?)
“ Possible “ availability next February
Lol. We can actually get them for false advertising here. "Best in class towing".Maybe we could join this up with the class action lawsuit over the huge key fob?
