Two identical JT Sports have different fenders.

Hope not - fog lights = in bumper on these, and have a distinct switch on the dash.
Daytime running lights are on even if headlights aren't and are not in the bumper.
Maybe that will help if there's any confusion there. (LOL - unless I'm also confused - but having done a bumper and light swap, I hope not)

But it is also you that pointed out that the sticker doesn't tell you all the differences. Like springs.

Daytime running lights are not part of the max tow package. Everything else listed is correct.

A lot of vehicles DRLs do not illuminate until the vehicle is shifted from Park to Drive. Just throwing that out there. Mine has leds, which are on when started, but turn on bright when shifting out of park. I would have never had known, if not for watching the reflection in the mini mart windows.

As far as I know all Max Tow optioned Sport S's have DRL's. The 2 piece fender comes with 2 bulbs - 1 for DRL & 1 for blinker. The DRL bulb is on the outside and the blinker bulb is on the inside. The non-Max Tow Sport S's have the single piece fender with a single bulb for the blinker.

Well then maybe they added it to the package at some point. I have a 2020 base Sport with max tow that does not list daytime running lights on the window sticker. I know they rearrange the option package contents periodically like when they added limited slip to the max tow package (which mine does have).

As of 2020, the DRL’s come standard on every trim outside of Sport/Sport S. Sport only gets DRL with Max Tow, otherwise you just get a single turn signal bulb in the fender. The Sport S comes standard with just turn signal bulb on fenders, unless you get either Max Tow package, or you get the body colored fenders. I have a Sport S with painted fenders, and the DRLs. But I didn’t like the stock halogen units, so I upgraded to an aftermarket LED system.

I bought a pair of WinJet Renegade’s off Amazon for $180. They don’t require any type of flashing of any sort. The connectors plug into the bulb connector and everything tucks neatly into the housing. My only real complaint about them is I wish the turn signals were a little brighter.

Why not obtain the build sheet based on the VIN? That will show exactly what was installed as it made its way through the assembly line. If I recall I used this website to obtain mine: just add the VIN after the "=" ...

I got the build sheet for my '04 WJ that way. That was sure interesting!

This. The second one is a Max Tow... Wider axles, bigger brakes, better engine cooling, bigger alternator, rear limited slip differential.

The OP’s truck has the same fan/cooling and alternator. Those come with the regular tow package, as well.

Holy crap. I just got 2 new LED bulbs for mine for like $20 on Amazon lol.

They work great, except I had to shave a little bit of the plastic off 1 of the tabs for it to fit properly. It was easy with a flathead, I'm sure a razor would work great too. They look great and I've never had any issues with them.

I replaced the entire housing, rather than just upgrading the bulbs, simply because I don’t like how the stock housings look. Compared to the ones I replaced them with they look like they sat outside in direct sunlight for 15 years.
