Every once in a while I'll mess with the Jeep guys. When I'm driving my Tundra I'll flash a Jeep guy a Jeep wave. I usually get a look like wait..... what???

Massachusetts, specifically the North Shore. I average about 75% successful wave returns. Yes, you read that right. Us Massholes wave at each other.

Im seeing a surprising amount of waves in far western CT...

I’m in western Ct Danbury area. Can’t go 2 miles without waving to several Jeeps.

Here on the north side of Dallas, my hit rate is probably over 50% when we can see each other. The bigger problem is the wider multi-lane roads with medians making it difficult to see. The further I get out into the country, the higher the hit rate goes.

Unless it is adjacent lane coming traffic, I do not bother to wave. Trying to wave at somebody more than a couple lanes over or a larger median just makes you look like Forest Gump stupid trying to wave.
