I heard the F-150 is around 1 minuteYes please do so. The Ram 1500 spits out well under 2 min each!

The line is running slow while the team makes their job tasks habit. The line will be increased incrementally until it is at full velocity for the model. Much easier to control quality if your team isn’t under stress learning the vehicle
Wow that's a huge difference! I guess it'll get quicker as more get made? For those that are curious.
JT cycle time will be around 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
JL cycle time is around 53 seconds
JK use to run at 1 minute and 10 seconds
Our cycle time on the JT is limited to space. Seeing as the JK that was manufactured on the same line was much smaller we could have more space for jobs which would allow items to be spread out. We do still have some availability for new jobs to be added so we'll see what happens in the future. Everything is pointing to 2:30 cycle times right now as previously mentioned though.Wow that's a huge difference! I guess it'll get quicker as more get made?
Yea . . . I got a feeling I'll realize that too once I get a chance behind the wheel ! they really do need to ReTune the 3.6 to 295 or 305 horses like the G.C. and RAM DT, respectively ! Oh and Happy Fools day,JT is super slow. I have a feeling they are going to try to speed it up.

If this were true then it would be 56,940 JTs a year for 7 days a week or 43,680 a year for 5 days a week. How many shifts on the JT line?
Or hours per day in production?
7 days a week?
In an eight hour shift, including breaks, say 6.5 hours of production = 24 per hour or
156 per 8 hour shift. 156 a day, going to be a bit of a wait at that rate.
So at that rate it would take 27 days straight to build the launch edition and 44 days for the
governments 7000. Hope it goes 3 shifts a day, 7 days a week or I won't see my build until
late summer if I order right away.![]()
Keep in mind that Jeep built 86,298 JL's in 2018.If this were true then it would be 56,940 JTs a year for 7 days a week or 43,680 a year for 5 days a week.
You sure about that number? Jeep claimed to have sold just over 240,000 Wranglers last year. Were that many of them JKs?Keep in mind that Jeep built 86,298 JL's in 2018.
I got that from JLWranglerForums. When I get a chance, I'll see if I can find their source. But yea, I think you may be right. You sure about that number? Jeep claimed to have sold just over 240,000 Wranglers last year. Were that many of them JKs?
