I am looking for a very specific build (diesel, rubicon, ACC) and there are basically none new in the nation and only a few used. I don't necessarily need the cost savings of going used but if there are no changes I might as well spend less on the used one. The build is about 69k discounted new vs 57k for the used one. So the question is, any substantial changes in those years? I know the steering box was changed at some point to be tighter with less float.

All diesels should have the updated steel gear box?

Funny, there are 12 2023 Diesel Rubi's within 100 miles of me! You use the locator on Jeep.com to see if there is any within a certain radius of you?

Yes. Odds are they don't have advanced safety group.

All 21s have the new box you're good there.

pretty sure the 22's and up also received upgraded front shocks to deal with the bottoming out issue. If you do buy used, don't forget to verify that it has the newer fuel pump as well.

I had the ACC in other vehicles and did not care for it. What about the ACC makes it a must have?

I live south of Boston and commute in. It's about 10 miles at a minimum daily in stop and go traffic for a minimum of 45 minutes. Once you go ACC around here you never go back. I've had 6-7 cars with it at this point. It also makes long hauls quite a bit less work. Just left lane and relax.

If you found a low mileage 21 with the options you want I would jump on it. $12k is significant especially if low mileage. Used prices must be coming down from 6 months ago!

Especially if you're driving two vehicles with different size tires on a long hwy trip and your wife wants to follow you... I turn on my cruise and she turns on her ACC and away we go

And to think I commuted in Dallas traffic with a stick shift.

People drive like complete idiots around here. The ACC and FCW are a lifesaver. I'm regularly cutoff by people speeding up to get in front of me to take the exit, and have been cutoff many times by people using the exit lane to pass me on the right.
