What I've come to learn is that if you keep missing your predictions, you simply keep making more videos about the prediction. That way, you can never say you were really "wrong" just that it's "in the future". When really you're just wrong a bunch.

You can buy a new Gladiator and take it to AMW for a swap and be under $100k. Their cheapest Hemi swap is $32k.

If I wanted one badly enough - that's the route I'd go.
You can get a really nicely equipped Rubicon X after incentives for the mid-50s. So you could get something really top-end for cheaper than factory.

I don’t know if a V8 in the Gladiator would need to start out as a clean slate engineering project, with the JL V8 already in existence.

It would not, 2/3 the work is done on the engineering side.

It's the capacity and the assembly side that would have to tool up and make big investments.

And, like in the video, if it sold like crazy, it would drag their CAFE averages down, which is why they charge like crazy, to pay them fines lol.
