Wagoneer or Gladiator?

Hello from Ohio. I'm new to the site and I joined because I love the look of the gladiator. I currently drive a Toyota TRD Pro, but like the thought of one day owning my own diesel gladiator....With that said and after doing some credible google searching, I stumbled across an article written this year that the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are coming back in 2021. Wow! Who doesn't love an old Wagoneer? They are so iconic! Now I'm torn between waiting on the diesel gladiator or waiting on one of the Wagoneers, but according to the article, looks like they might cost a pretty penny. I suppose if they do come out, there will also be a Wagoneer forum. But for what worit's worth, here is the article. Any thoughts on the wagoneer? I havent seen a concept photo.

I’d have no interest in a wagoneer, I was looking for a truck and the Gladiator fit the bill. Guess it depends what type of vehicle you’re looking for, we all have different reasons.

It will probably be a unibody, so, that is a different animal than a body on frame JT.

The gladiator is just the right size IMO and the same size as the Tacoma and nearly identical to the Brute.

Okay...now if this is the wagoneer, then no thanks. It just looks like a run of the mill grand Cherokee. I was thinking it would look more old school.

I know.... I have owned several old Cherokee sports ... those things just never break! And I had a JKU, but kids happened and I needed a bit more room.

I'm south of columbus by the way.

Not likely. It should be Ram based, and will compete against the Tahoe, Suburban, and Expedition class vehicles.
