I have the NOCO GB40 in all 3 of my Jeeps. I can't tell you it's the best jump pack or the "right" jump pack. What I can tell you is that I have jumped at least 30 vehicles with this pack and the only one that I've never been successful at is my Gladiator with dead main and auxiliary batteries...
Ok, cool. I just looked it up and the GB40 is a 1000-amp pack. There are much larger capacity ones available (with proportionately larger price tags). For example the NOCO GB250 is rated at 5250 amps and retails for $1099.99 - on sale today for $799.99. Contrast that with an ā€œAvapowā€ branded unit rated at 6000 amps (32000mAh) for $199.99 - on sale today for $134.99. I may roll the dice on that one.

Even after a 2 hr trip. You figure it would be charged and the message would be gone.
One would think…
But I took mine on an hour-and-a-half freeway drive and the message didn’t go away until I charged it.

Moved from SoCal to Texas, 1500 mile drive and it never went back to normal. Kept getting the message about charging.

Again, wouldn’t be that difficult to change the message to an error stating that ā€œthe battery hasn’t charged, take it in for serviceā€ after X many attempts.

Give the driver some sort of information. Don’t think that is too much to ask.

Bingo.

This guy knows stuff.

The point is that people refuse to learn truths, instead preferring to spread their incorrect "opinions" on something they don't understand.

Question - do you LIKE your precious Jeep? Do you like it with an ICE?
Then best get used to things. Most accept it and move forward. They may not like it, but That's the Way it goes (sounds like a good song title!)

There's one reason Jeep is still able to sell you these things. Get past the hate and accept it's the way it is.

Like I used to have in my sig - there's none so blind as those who will not see.
If you had read the dozens of threads, hundreds of posts on this very topic, and read what I've posted on the CAFE credits and so on - you'd not have posted that bit at all.
Thats the problem. Just accept what your overlord says. i know CAFE wouldn’t make up bs stats to appease the governments overreach. It’s your vehicle not some politician.
