Does anyone have a parts list that can accomplish the winch with plastic bumper?!?! I'm in love with this idea but am certainly not the guy to fabricate a plate. If there's anything that you can purchase to accomplish this please let me knowI have the factory plastic Rubicon bumper and factory steel skid plate. I wanted to keep weight down and use what I already had. I installed the Warn EVO 12S, Maximus-3 winch plate, Go Rhino 332000T Rockline Textured Black Fairlead Mount Plate (to take up some space between the winch and the plastic bumper), Tuffy license plate holder, Maximus-3 Tow/D-ring brackets. I bought the winch/mount plate kit from RubiTrux. Great price, no sales tax, and free shipping. I had to cut up the plastic and steel factory bumper, but the mounting plate fit perfect. I got the idea from a gentleman, Toby W, on the JLForums website who made his own winch plate and kept his plastic bumper. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/winch-mount-for-plastic-bumper.7605/
Man those cuts are super clean!! Awesome job!! If I didn't have a steel bumper I definitely would have followed your route.I have the factory plastic Rubicon bumper and factory steel skid plate. Did you have any problems with the inner frame support? Each time I tightened the upper bolt down the inner frame support would block the bumper bolt hole. Attached photo shows what I am talking about. For some reason the photo is rotated but the hole that is blocked is the passenger side lower hole inner spot.I went with the grimm offroad winch plate...

I did not, everything fit pretty snug, are you using the grimm offroad winch plate? Can you take the another photo not that close? The bottom bolts on the winch plate I had to use a mallet to get them aligned properly though. But I didn't have the issue you are having. Have you thought of maybe putting a bolt in there so it doesn't move?Did you have any problems with the inner frame support? I am using the Grimm Offroad Winch Pate, I have already uninstalled the winch plate, so more pictures isn't an option right now. I did try putting a bolt in there but it still shifted and locked the bolt in place, so I had to loosen then side bolt to get the hole to open up to release the bolt.I did not, everything fit pretty snug, are you using the grimm offroad winch plate? Thank you for sharing this. I had no intention of getting a winch. Never EVER needed a winch. Had my Jeep for 6 months, and my mom calls me yesterday because she got stuck due to heavy rain. Now I'm shopping for a winch.I have the factory plastic Rubicon bumper and factory steel skid plate. I wanted to keep weight down and use what I already had.
