3rd oil change in 6k?I just scheduled a off cycle oil change at 6k miles cause I wanna use my last wave.
NVM I Englished wrong .3rd oil change in 6k?
I save the old filters and write millage and date on the box. That way I have not only proof but if there is a failure starting we can go back and see when it started. This included the three free oil changes that came with vehicle. I change every 5k or less.Save your receipts, take pics (like the ones in my previous posts, clearly showing the MS spec), and log the service in your owners manual "notes" section or a ringbook. NOTE: the second picture is from the 15' Grand - PM "C" was completed 8/21 along with a transfer case control module R/R - this was the first malfunction of any kind on this unit).

They got me!! It says they installed a Mopar part#...Did the service invoice reflect the aftermarket part or did they slip in the MOPAR part number on it?
Good, then the record shows that your jeep was serviced properly at the dealership and there is no basis for any kind of warranty denial. They got me!! It says they installed a Mopar part#...
Actually, I was wrong... lol. Here is what it says:Good, then the record shows that your jeep was serviced properly at the dealership and there is no basis for any kind of warranty denial.
Getting gas somewhere in west Texas last week a guy is pulling out in a beat old WK 4.0 We looked at each other smiled and gave each other a thumbs up! Jeeps rock old or new.The neat thing about the Jeep people is that even with a really bad day, when things are really sucking, things gone bad, whatever, when you get that wave, or you come out of a store after spending 4 times what you expected and find a duck on the door handle, the whole day turns around and anything before just doesn't matter any more.
Thank you. You saved my fingers. Some folks are just so sad…wanting to get violent for being friendly and waving. Wow.What the hell?
Why will using another oil or fuel filter void warranty? As long as it meets specs, it will not and can not.
Why are supply chain issues criminal?
What have insurance companies got to do with anything at all? they aren't impacting the supply chain!
Jeep can't help the supply chain and shortages.
Where have you been living that you are just now seeing this coming??
Or is this a post to troll?
This has been going on for a couple of years, and it's been talked about with ALL of the major companies. Ford owners can't get oil filters, Chevy owners can't get oil filters. So who are YOU going to sue? Ford, Chevy, Jeep or perhaps Wix or the filter companies? How about suing the government?
Sue your neighbor, he bought the last box of oil filters.
Sue your state - they are paying unemployment.
Sue the truck drivers who are not working.
Sue the dock workers, they aren't working fast enough for you.
Seriously, who are you going to sue? It's a world-wide systemic issue.
Next you are really going to freak over the DEF situation with your diesel - sue the Aussie farmers who used all of the urea in fertilizer. Sue the Chinese - they have money and it's obviously their fault.
Love it- first thing that comes up when people get pissed and don't understand how the supply chain and supply and demand and pandemics work is SUE!
I'd love to hear your explanation of how this is in any way criminal - give details, please, and name your defendants.
What did they do and what was their motivation.
Now there's a war and that's shut down our sources of things that came mostly from Ukraine and Russia - sue Putin. I think many of us would like to.
Good Lord that is nuts. Whats so special about that filter?I ordered 2 oil filters in Feb from FactoryMoparDirect.com. They cancelled the order, saying out of stock, no ETA. Got e-mail today says my filters are on the way. Part # 68507598AA , price each $69.33.

I was on hold with them for :30 today @ lunch with the intent of canceling my order…they never got on the line. I ordered mine on 2-8-22. 5-10 minutes after I got back from lunch I got the following email also…I ordered 2 oil filters in Feb from FactoryMoparDirect.com. Literally nothing. The fact that it's attached to the cap has already been debunked as well on YouTube. It's just a new "spec" that the manufactures need to now make.Good Lord that is nuts. Whats so special about that filter?
They have it and you don't?Good Lord that is nuts. Whats so special about that filter?
