Anyone know of a way to get the manual roll up windows locked? Are there any vendors you can think of that maybe sell a ratcheting handle with a lock? Would be nice to keep kids from rolling them down slightly to find a wet interior later etc.

Any help or ideas are appreciated.

Remove the cranks for the kids windows. Harbor freight sells a tool package for windows and doors that has the tool. Then just YouTube the how-to.

Yeah I formed a crazy habit now, anytime I open a door I grab that crank to make sure it's all the way up. Even on days where I have all the windows down I still catch myself about to crank it up.

Make sure they the windows are not just slightly opening themselves. Mine would over time and I solved it by taking off the handle and putting back / re-clocking on to make sure handle weight is always pushing down to the up side motion. Hope that make sense.
The handles cannot be in the all up position with the weight of them to be able to push down to down window.
Also if kids being kids hits or pushed down on the handle playing around it's being pushed to the up stroke.

Sell the oldest kid to Gypsies and the remaining will fall in line.

Remove the handle. I remember as a kid since all we had were crank handles my parents did the following:

”You touch the window you die” - That worked.

In older cars because the cranks were worn we could ven lower the windows by putting our hands flat on them or getting our fingers into the top crack and pushing down.

In all seriousness remove the handles.
