It reminds me of a documentary, if that’s what you want to call it, a car drives by a police station, (I think it was in Detroit) the car “back fires” and 60 cops take chase through the city then when the car is stopped they litter the driver and passenger with over 100+ bullets. I think a bunch of cops gave up chasing cause they thought it was stupid

Maybe a training exercise too??

I remember having to do “training” by watching videos. This is “what not to do”.

As a Captain with a fire department, EV fires are a real threat. Currently the only real effect is copious amounts of water. If there isn't a hydrant nearby, it becomes a major problem as we only carry a max of 750 gallons of water. There are no good training props that allow us to practice EV fires. Everything becomes more difficult when an EV is involved. A simple extrication after a wreck becomes not so simple. You can't just cut where we are use to cutting. Panels have to be exposed, and you better make damn sure you aren't near a power cable or battery.
