1) ESS Button that recalls last setting
2) Improve seating comfort -both seat angle and foam used in the seats
3) Improve vehicle electronic security for theft reduction
4) Improve current customer experience by making replacement parts readily available. Example - I have been waiting on a replacement bed rail cap for 2 months through 2 different dealers.

Hello Jeep fans!

We are looking for feedback on what features/options/colors/additions/etc. you would like to see in your Jeeps.
Please leave a comment below on anything you'd like to share. Keep in mind, this might not appear anytime soon but we want to know what our owners are looking for to make the ownership experience more enjoyable.

Thank you!

This talk of going all electric is seems like a good idea to some. The world is not ready for all electric. The grid can’t support it and I have never seen a charging station on a remote trail. Your CEO stated the same. Keep gas only models available. Those of us who off-road long distances don’t need to haul around a heavy battery for no good reason. And on that note, increased payloads.

Thanks for asking

Gas or hybird with more torque.
2000 watt power from the outlet in the bed.
Power rear window.
Steering wheel radio volume on the left.
One reasonable dealer (or jeep service center no dealer)within 100 miles.

The dealers are just horrible. They couldn't care less, and they tell me they get little to no support from anyone higher up. Not sure whether that's true or not, but the dealers are horrible.

I don't want anything new. Fix what you have. Get someone higher up in the chain of command to also give JeepCares more teeth to get things done too.

Ditch the auto start feature and give us accessible space for a real secondary battery…

  • bed lights that stay on much longer/can be turned on by switch
  • tailgate passive entry
  • adjusted license plate lights, or off in reverse
Reposition those lights might help........
Yeah, there's passive entry on the tailgate of a JLU, why not the JT?
There's a bed light switch in the cab, but one in the bed would sure be nice.

4. Dead pedal.
As from the many posts here on the topic, not everyone wants or needs that - thus, it's up to you to install one. Anything that's factory option would be like the third party dead pedals only worse and more expensive.
Some things need to be optional.

* Power front seats in lower end models (pretty sure in '24 its only for hi level trims)
* Integrated trailer brake controller that doesn't use the 12V socket
Yup - some people have difficulties with the seats (my wife) and there should be at least a power driver seat option for any level.
It's a shame the trailer brake controller is either/or with the 12v outlet. Ironically, those who tow are just as likely to need the power outlet, maybe more likely in some cases.

Better shifting in transmission, one that doesn't hold the gear for an unreasonably long time. If I wanted to manually shift I would have bought a manual.
You need yours checked out. Mine only holds lower gears if it needs the torque - these actually shift great. On level ground with no head-wind, mine will go up through the gears without hesitation. I suspect you either have bigger tires, more weight, or hills.

ESS changes ain't gonna happen - not if you want Jeep to survive the next round of CAFE rules. People keep asking but don't get why it's there. it's not a thing where Jeep decided - hey, this looks like a cool idea, and we'll make it this way instead of that.
It's EPA/CAFE rules to get the CAFE credits. Otherwise, Jeep fails and pays mega-billion dollar fines.

I think Jeep would sell a bajillion more Freedom Tops, if they designed a hard top where the panels above the rear seats were modular like those in the front seats.
That way, we don't have to remove the entire rear roof section to have the open air.
  • This would be great for those of us that don't have the room to store the bulky rear roof/rear windshield section.
  • This would allow for one person to configure full front/rear open-air
  • If people in the front want to keep the tops on, but the rear passengers want it open, no problemo.
  • If the weather suddenly got better on a road trip, you could take the front and rear freedom panels off and just put them in the back bed... then cruise with the wind blowing in your hair.... (and vice versa!)
  • It also allows us to keep the rear windshield to reduce wind buffetting.
I'm sure there's gotta be some designer over there at Jeep or Stellantis that can design this? Or maybe even @Bestop can design something??

Mine has had terrible shifting since I got it, maybe I do need to have it checked. It started with stock tires and continues to do the same even with the 37's. Going up a slight incline it will hold 2nd/3rd/4th, for way longer than is needed. Even on the interstate it holds 4th or 5th way too long if going up a hill. I can manually shift to 6th and it still pulls fine without over revving which tells me it should be shifting sooner.

A hard top rear window that doesn't stress crack leak at the upper interior plastic track.

AND when you design and implement the fix, allow current owners to get it done at a reasonable price.

This is why I want the true hybrid where it is 100% electric drive train, but a gas/diesel motor that provides electricity only to run it all. You could have a battery for short trips, and that could be 30 mile range and suit many needs in that category and gas to generate electricity for longer.

I agree, I don't want something that I won't be able to find a place to charge it nor the range to take it anywhere.

Agreed, I just want the market to decide and so far the market is not ready for all electric. And that’s because the market is efficient and has more input from more people, many of whom don’t want or can’t afford an overpriced electric option.
