Sounds like rock caught against rotor, or brake pads against rotor. The way disk brakes work is that they depend somewhat on imperfect rotors to push the pads, and thus the pistons, back so there's some clearance. So if you'd have your foot on the brake you've pushed the pads against the rotors.
As you drive the very slightly imperfect rotor will push against the pads pushing them back a couple of thousandths just enough space to say they aren't rubbing. So until they push back, and it takes more when they are cold and the rubber is stiffer, it could be a pad squeak against the rotor.

I agree with the other post suggesting this - do everything exactly as you always do but instead hold the brakes a bit while taking off to apply pressure and prevent the pads from relaxing back.

I had the same type of noise at around 32,000 miles last summer.
Took it to my great reliable dealer .They replaced all rotors, calipers, pads under warranty.
Noise went away after that. Now at just under 50,000 miles I heard the noise again yesterday . I believe it is caused by the water puddle that is in front of our entrance gate that hangs around for a long time before drying up. I am leaning towards moister, slight rust on drum after sitting all day. Once I get on the interstate and crank up the radio I don't hear anything.

so about my squeal noise issue, just got it back from jeep dealer and they said everything looked good with my brakes etc, besides what they could notice was the paint peeling off the calipers causing the squeal… any suggestions on how I can go about fixing that annoyance without changing it out?Previous owner did the caliper paint job.

Question - how would paint peeling off an iron object that doesn't contact anything or make noise on its own cause squealing?
I've never heard a sound when paint peels off anything else.
paint doesn't squeal and if it got onto the rotor between rotor and pad, it wouldn't squeal, it likely would not make any sound.
Sort of confusing. Calipers get painted all the time.
I'd say they tried to spike the ball over the net and it ended up out of bounds.

Mount a camera by each wheel, or in the rear of the 3 piece bumper, to catch a video of the noise.

Can't be done.
He'll have to catch an audio of the noise.

OP, by chance do you have a Mopar lift?

Must be a Vegas thing. I’ve posted about this once upon a time with no resolution.

Once I heard another JT in a parking lot that squeaked for a bit and it was louder than mine so that made me feel a little better.

My knee jerk reaction was rotor surface rust, rock lodged between rotor and pad, etc. but after playing the video a few times and watching the speed of the road in conjunction with the cadence of the noise, I'm hesitant to say it's brake related, because I believe the OP would have a much faster cadence to the squeak. That being said, it almost seems suspension related because just before the squeaking on both occasions, you can see a slight "bump" happen with the JT as a whole, almost like driving over a slight dip in the road (I was looking at the mirror as a point of reference). Couple that with the cadence of the squeak, and I can almost imagine shocks settling the truck in that rhythm, after a bump, causing that noise. And I'm not saying it's the shocks specifically, but could be suspension related, as someone else mentioned. OP, is the suspension stock? Granted, it's hard to pinpoint from a video, but I would definitely be out there when it was cold, pushing down on corners to try to replicate the sound. Just my $.02. Good luck!

You would have to either spend a lot of time removing the paint with them on the vehicle, carefully using a chemical stripper, or take them off and have them bead or sand blasted.
I guess it's possible for peeling bits of paint to get caught just right and act as a reed, but that really just sounds like the dealer found something to blame it on.

I had a Mazda that started squealing the brakes when backing up and with light pressure.
This stuff put an end to it.

Yeah I’m not sure what to look at or look for I haven’t tried pushing down on anything to see if it could be the shocks or whatever, it still only happens at low speeds after truck sits a bit is when it definitely is at its loudest. I’ll reverse and no noise at all as soon as I go forward it’ll start the squeal, if I apply the brake while apply the gas at the same time while driving forward no noise at all. But only when first driving after it sits I can drive around running errands and no noise. Plan to take it to a local shop when I have the time to have it inspected again. I feel the dealer didn’t really look good or to lazy. Wish I had the capability to fix it or inspect myself but I’m to girly for all that might drop the front end on my head lol
