Well Everyone,

I wanted to thank this forum for the helpful tips and tricks ive learned along the way. It made working on the Gladiator a lot of fun.
Sadly I'm saying goodbye to the Gladiator next week. Purchased new in 2021 I've put 100 000 KM on it, only warranty repair were a driveshaft hangar bearing, and the tailgate stop light. It's been a remarkable truck. But It's just not My Dad's Gladiator. And it is time to say goodbye.

Next Week I'll be picking up my New Ineos Grenadier. How good it is remains to be discovered, the price of early adoption!

But the Gladiator has been a blast.

I'll bne posting a parts sale thread, I have a bunch of stuff that im going to pass along

Goose Gear Platform High
Bullet Point phone mount 3 Ball Red and Grey Arms
Bestop Sun Rider Premium
Tonneau Cover
Winch Mount
Winch Block off plates
Winch front Bumper PLate
Invictus Sunglasses cases and grab handle kits black
and a bunch of other odds and ends.

Thanks for the Forum, and thanks for just being a good bunch of people.

Hope you like the Grenadier! I've had my eye on one for awhile. But i don't do early adoption. maybe in 2-3 years.

Truck was traded with the cap, you can meet me at the dealership and see if they’ll sell it to you. I have to pick up the Grenadier in Mississauga

Nice, we've got a vin on our build as of last week. Eldoret Blue with white top should be here in June.

The Grenadier has been available with the BMW powertrain in Europe for at least a couple years now. I joined the Ineos forum a while back, not seeing a lot of issues overall.

Congrats, cant wait to have one of my own here shortly.

Looked at the Grenadier, absolutey love the truck. Just a bit overpriced in my opinion, and not a fan of the BMW drivetrain personally.
The B58 seems to be reliable thus far, Im sure the Grenadier version will be under stressed compared to its application in the M series as well as the GR Supra.

The transmission, well cant complain about that too much the Gladiator shares the ZF 8HP platform in the diesels. Which at least at this point is argued to be the current gold standard.

I drove it, the steering takes getting used too and it by no means drives sportily. The Gladiator steering characteristics felt more enjoyable on the road than the Grenadier.

Power train though, the B58 in the Grenadier felt much better than the 3.6 in my Mojave. Noticeable low end power, quicker and easier for daily driving. It felt like the JT diesel in power characteristics, but with better throttle response and overall more enjoyable than the Pentastar. Having said that, its not fast, neither truck is fast. Really just a subjective thing and for those that like it. Im keeping my Jeep, getting the Grenadier and trading the 2019 Pro 4Runner. Its more better than the 4R, than it is more better than the JT, if that makes sense. ?

I would say be careful with that new vehicle’s drivetrain, but I bought a 3rd gen Italian motor whose first two generations were notorious for spinning crank bearings… ?

Just enjoy it!

I built one on the website. Only $102,000 LOL
I think they are subjected to the 25% "Chicken Tax" on trucks built outside the USA. I doubt many will make it here because of that.

If Grenadier offered a diesel version of that truck, I'd probably pucker up and pay it. It reminds me of the old Defender trucks.

Correct, our sales person was keenly aware of this as well. Probably why most stock is done via orders. Its a low sales volume vehicle though, I think Ineos accounts for that, their whole modus operandi is really a labor of love and not purely for profit.
