When I first bought my Gladiator I got a great deal on on some 20" fuel Rampage wheels. I went with 35x12.5x20 ridge grapplers. I think it gave the truck some pop in appearance, but it looked a bit bro dozer to me.

I love the military look, so I was really curious when Kenda came out with the Klevers in a 35x10.5x17. i wanted to go with a simple wheel and KMC has the Roswell for a good price, and the Anthracite, is a really close match to billet silver. So I ordered the 18+ offset in hopes of keeping some mud and grime off the truck.

It is a different look for sure. A little less pop, but I like it. I picked up like 50HP and it rides Infinity better.

Those are some good looking wheels and tires? I like that solid look. Do tou think it’ll be a pita to clean of you get muddy?

Trade secret you can get at least +10 more HP by shining those tires up. Something to do with the air slipping past the tires easier.

I am sure the shiney tires would help, but I will leave that to the professionals ?.

I think these will be easier to clean. No spokes or anything to wash around. Has holes around the outside so the pressure washer can get the mud out the back. Actually the extra holes around the outside are why I went with these wheels vs the others.

Will see?

Day one and I am getting 1.5 mpg better already. At this rate these tires and wheels will pay for themselves lol.

What was the weight of each wheel and tire previously? Now with the new set up? Unless the weight is significantly different I don’t see how mileage improves with the same diameter time.

not a terrible concept to have different wheel tire setups for DD and wheeling; I should just pickup a set of Rubi take offs

It is significant, I did not weigh them, but I had to really put my back into it to lift the old ones. The new ones are like lifting a normal truck tire.

These are pretty awesome in the mud, your truck will get dirtier, cause they sling it off and clean out better. All and all a good thing. These are way better off road then my last setup.

M/T's have significantly more rolling resistance (which will definitely contribute to less efficiency)

So they probably aren't much worse than my factory firestone mt/2's.
