Perfect! Thanks.
There’s actually a max trac facebook page somewhere that has all kinds of upgrades for this style compressor. First thing I did was replace the power wires with heavier gauge and added a standard air hose connection to mine, then got rid of that stupid coiled up plastic hose so I could run anything I wanted. Pressure switch will be my next mod for sure.

So far…and I’ve only had it like a week.
dv8 door pockets, ventvisors, a few vinyl decals k&n drop in filter.

I have 14 items arriving today, then a tonneau cover, bed Molle system, and a few other things.
Yeah, I’m kinda going a bit nuts.
Pics pics pics........

Since starting to wash my Gladiator on AUGUST 1st 2023 and having a ladder collapse which broke my heel, it's pretty much sat around - no mods, no real trips, and filthy dirty. It's been a long hard rehab (7 months out of a year), but today, I FINISHED washing her!!!! She's clean and pretty again, and I'm feeling better and getting around. I can walk again, but with some pain.

As soon as the weather warms up a bit, I'm going to do a full detail, and apply Meguiars Hybrid Paint Coating and keep her clean - Then I'm going to get her filthy dirty again... :)

A coworker of mine fell of a ladder and shattered his Calcaneus bone and he was off for months. Nasty bone to brake, one of the worst. 2 years later and he still doesn't walk right. He gets around fine, but has a slight limp, especially towards the end of the day.

Hopefully you have a better experience and get back to 100 percent.

People Work?
Torque and tire day here.
Ball joints were fine, but the tie rod end links needed a tweaking.
Everything else was good and snug.
Tires are wearing beautifully so far at close to 20,000 miles.

Now I need to clean up the garage. It's a mess.

After the third time dropping something in the gap between the seat and console, I decided it would be $24 well spent to buy the Stop Drop seat gap fillers.

It got so nice outside today that I decided to reinstall the Sunrider. I swapped the Freedom Panels back on sometime in late October or early November. I figured that there was no reason to leave it on during the months that were cool enough that I wouldn't open it, but Spring fever is starting to set in.

Also added a couple of reflectors in the rear bumper cutouts. I know most people put high powered backup lights in the cutouts, but I am okay with the factory lights.

Thanks for the kind words. Yup. Calcaneus. Luckily mine held together "in place" fairly well and I didn't need surgery, but had to do zero weight on that foot for 3+ months. After that its been learning to walk again. At 7 months in, I have a slight limp, ankle swelling everyday, but not too much pain. I'm hoping that I'll be pretty much past it by end of April, but the doc says it's a year plus. For me to get all my strength back will be longer still. Hope your coworker eventually gets past it.

Took the afternoon to give the JT a wash and wax from last weeks road salt. I hate it so darn bad. Also gave the LJ a wash, wax, and covered it after a short drive today. And since the temps were into the high 30's used the last bit of soap to wash the TJ for the first time in 6 months! All minutes before the next storm blew in dumping a few inches of snow in an hour. At least they are waxed and will be easy to clean next time.

I really need a garage.

A few years ago, I was standing behind my work truck facing forward when a girl ran into the back of the truck crushing my right leg between the bumpers. Luckily I was standing to the left side so she only got one leg and also lucky she was in a SUV and the bumpers were the same height. If she had been in a lower vehicle it probably would have severed my leg off. I looked down and my tibia was sticking out of the front of my leg. When I saw it I said to myself "This is not good". A week in the hospital, a titanium rod and 3 screws to repair, lots of rehab and out of work for 13 months because of the type of job I have. Took me a long time to get my muscle tone back that I lost. Had a limp for a very long time but it did slowly improve. Still have soft tissue damage, numbness and nerve damage. There's not a day that goes by that I don't feel something one way or the other. Even after everything I went through. I consider myself lucky. It could have been much worse in many ways and I am thankful that I still have a leg to walk on. I will never forget how accomplished I felt after I was able to do some simple normal things. Luckily I had family and some very good friends help me during the difficult times. Was newly divorced and living alone so I had to stay with my parents and my friends took care of my yard, checked on my house and got my mail. You really find out who your true friends are. Some you think will help but they don't and others step up that you think never would have. I'm very grateful to everyone that helped me.
So @Silverator I completely understand your situation and desire to get back to normal. I'm glad that you are improving and headed in the right direction. I'm sure you felt accomplished after washing your truck and believe me if anyone understands that feeling it's me. Hang in there and try not to overdo it even though sometimes you have to push yourself to get stronger. I wish you a speedy recovery.
BTW post #26,907 was my detail day. I know you can't wait to get back to yours.

Two unrelated things today. Installed a fuel pump and starter interrupter to avoid theft. I won’t go into much detail though on a public forum.

Started and finished my rear winch project. I’m very happy with the results, and am happy I waited to spend a bit more on a very compact and lightweight winch. I intended for this to be portable temporarily, but I think I’m keeping it this way. I set it up so it can be hooked up to any vehicle with a battery and 2” receiver.

I started with a Warn Axon 55-S winch, marketed for large UTVs. I mated it to a hitch receiver and fairlead bracket plate that’s rated for this winch model specifically. I know it’s not large enough for really big pulls, but I’m fine with that. Common sense and physics (pulleys) will be used when this thing is needed. I wanted synthetic so I could use all my existing synthetic-use recover gear. My goal for this is to be able to get the rear end out of bad situations. I have no intention of using it for straight backwards uphill pulls. With a pulley, I won’t hesitate to use it as assistance for slowly going down a scary thing. I wired it using a 24’ 2awg setup with Anderson connectors. There’s a short Anderson pigtail under the hood, connected to my existing Warn winch solenoid. I won’t run pulls from both winches at the same time, so won’t have an over amperage problem. For control, it’s got manual buttons, which I left very close to the winch, bundled with what I’m now calling the harness. It also has an inline Bluetooth receiver that allows me to use the Warn app on my iPhone. Both work great. Other than the pigtail, no wiring is permanently on the jeep.

I think it turned out quite well, and is less than 45lbs in total weight, including the cables. I spent a little more for a winch without a big control box or external clutch handle to make it an easy package to put in with the recovery gear.

I’d been thinking about it for over a year. I always resisted because it will not get much use compared to the front, but I’ll be able to get myself out of tight spots alone more easily. I like the peace of mind.
Would’ve used this around 7 times today?
