yeah i looked into it. Wide trac is wider BUT also far thicker tubes. Cus i was like, aint no way i jump my shit and bend nothing and homeboy bends his on a pot hole. thinner walled tubes make the explanation there.
The thicker tube thing is a rumor that I’ve yet to see proven. The only verifiable difference I’m aware of is width.

Umm, looks like the original reached 99 pages and was closed for more replies. So keep posting here!

I had tint done to front 2 windows, bug deflector installed, wayout style wrap installed, tires cleaned. 303 applied to tonneau cover.

EDIT: forgot to mention possibly the most important mod, ceramic coated grille, grille guard, and double ceramic coated windshield. FU bugs! Try sticking to all my ceramic now..... Stupid bugs.

In preparation to take possession of a 2024 JTR-AT (not X version) I have been removing most of the modifications I installed on my 2022 JTR (MT). I'm trading away from Jeeps insistence on a very poorly engineered clutch. I have removed the following for installation on the new JTR:

-bed steps
-differential skid plates
-locking hood latches
-winch protector bar (buying a new Warn 10S EVO winch and plate)
-Redline tuning hood braces
-JCR molle fire extinguisher panel
-Quadratec engine skid plate
-Mealcloak front adjustable track bar
-Mopar bed rails
-Noco boost plus
-console tray
-sunglass holder
-JCR overhead molle panel

This saved me a couple grand at least.

The 2024 JTR had the Mopar Bilstein lift installed by the dealer

The biggest expense will be the new Method 705 wheels, and Goodyear Ultraterrain 35/12.5 17R E series tires, but at least I get the Vet discount.

I recently got a call from the dealer that i bought my JT from asking if i wanted to trade it in for a newer model.... I'm like hell no; no way am i starting over, even with a good discount.

plus ,I take mine offroad nowadays without a second thought. Babying it because it's new... don't want to go through that again :)

Good luck with your new one!

Installed the AEV 7000 lights swapped the lens to Amber and installed the rock guards, everything was top notch used the AEV harness and I’m happy.

Teraflex Tera30.... beefy, size of the ring and pinion though has me wondering if i won't regret it. a replacement mopar is 5 1/2 week wait, and shop gave me a good deal since he had it in stock that included an eaton elocker and 4.88 gears. Patience is not one of my virtues.
Go ahead and truss it this time?

Did the mounting bracket come with an adhesive heat shield, or did you have to get it separately?

Finished specking out the OVRLND camper, so delivery is June 13th. And finished the underhood part of the ARB compressor install. I still have to mount the air tank, and run the air lines to that, and a line to the rear bumper with a chuck, but I am going to wait till I get the new bumper installed before I do that.

I didn't want air lines looping all over the place so I made some shorter ones.

Haven’t laid eyes on it either. But logic would state. a longer axle tube would have more leverage against itself and would therefore be more prone to bending under stress than the skinny trac variants. Which means mine would’ve buckled ages ago from the shit I do. I’m willing to bet the wide trac axles have thicker wall tubing. I bet someone somewhere has whacked into one and found out. I’ve only seen tube failures on on non wide trac axles so far as well. Wide trac seems to lose the knuckle ball joints in a heavy hit scenario. Just what I’ve seen so far anyway

Worked on this past day or two. Finally done. All I did was grab an old roof rack bar I had, removed the ends, drilled a hole on either side to line up with the existing holes on the roll bar, bolted it down, grabbed a couple of double ended clamps from home depot and boom goes the dynamite! Saw these on on line for almost 200 bucks. Cost me about $10
