Where did you get those D-rings for the front bumper?
Wellllll....technically, I think they are called something more like shackle mount points. D-Rings are different. You tend to see these on bigger equipment or HumVees . Like this:

But whatever the right term is, I got mine from FrogFab about 4 years ago.

They made them for the JK/JKU's but I don't see them on their website anymore. It's probably worth sending them an email though.

They are really beefy:

They bolt into the framehorns but you have to cut the crush cans off and grind everything smooth to get them to seat properly. Then you have to cut through the front fascia so that they will come through nicely, otherwise just leave the plastic piece off.

I wound up not cutting the holes quite right as you can see in this pic, but I just bought replacement from QuadraTec for something like $17 apiece (4 years ago).

Just returned from a long drive to pick up a new plastic badge for the Jeep. It was amazing!

Took the front doors off, warmed up the oil on a beer run, changed the oil, and took the old oil back to the parts store. Then opened one of the beers. Pulled out the front soft doors. If I have any say, the soft doors stay until snow falls. Perfect day.

On my list... as soon as I can hook up with a few more experienced folks.
Definitely worth it ... and your drive from S.F. shouldn't be bad at all ... it is beautiful and challenging

Got rid of the stock front bumper and replaced with a MetalCloak frame-built unit....needed something to bolt the Badland 12k winch to. Have the MC leveling kit w/red Rocksport shocks staged in the garage to do this week to account for the extra weight of the bumper/winch.

Installed the Billie Bars tailgate cover/pad
Pros: MADE IN THE USA
-Fits great using the suggestions on this forum to add a couple M6 rivnuts.
- I think it will work great when using my tailgate for cooking.

Cons: Might be considered expensive to some (which is subjective)
-Had a few air bubbles in the foam that I removed with a sharp pick.
-Zero swag, no decals and none of those cool coozies I saw mentioned on the forum šŸ˜‚

Hates: The giant logo that serves nothing more than to catch dirt and more likely my food spills. As well as being a truck that looks to be a ford and definitely not a Jeep.
-Website states ā€œCup holders included - adhesive caps for a flat surface applied or included upon request!ā€ I requested these (uninstalled) only to find out it was an additional $20 charge. Don’t be coy just include the price in the description.

Other than the rivnuts on the bedside corners I did add some sticky foam pads to the cup holders.

Same company I ordered bed rail Molle from. I’m excited, even though I might need to do some modifications to make them work.

Installed a 2" Iron Rock spacer lift with some sway bar disconnect end links. I really like how this truck handles and rides on the road. I didn't want to screw that up. I figured a spacer lift would keep the ride the same. Plus it's cheap enough that if I don't like it, I can revert to stock with little consequences.

In progress pic.

Nice garage.
Are those both Miatas in there? Can’t tell the yellow one.
